In my opinion these are the best bottles you can buy. I pump everything so I care more about the vent/ flow than the shape of the nipple. I tried Dr. Browns, avent and madela bottles and none of them worked as well as TT closer to nature. A friend with "very gassy kids" recommended these. The vent system works great no bubbles AND no annoying pieces to assemble and clean. That being said, I wish they were already selling extra slow flow nipples in the US because I think a lot of newborns have trouble keeping up with the 1s especially BF babies. As of now they only come with the first feed bottle which is more expensive but worth every penny. Once we switched to the 0 nipples my husband said it was like having a different baby. At 12 weeks we are just transitioning to slow flow (1) with success. I'm so thankful we found these so my daughter is happy after she eats instead of gassy and crabby. ... show more

I have purchased multiple tommee tippee bottles for my son (from target and buybuy baby). This was the first time I ordered them from amazon. The nipples look cloudy and very different from all of his other nipples. I tried everything, hand washing, sterilizer, dishwasher. They still look cloudy and all of his other nipples look clear. I was clearly sent defective nipples/bottles. The worst part is that I immediately washed the bottles as soon as I received them mixed in with his other bottles, without noticing the nipple difference so I have to throw every single bottle of his (I’m not sure which bottle, ring and cap belong to the defective nipples and I’m assuming the whole bottle is defective) and rebuy all new bottles NOT ON AMAZON! This is not the first time I have had an issue with Amazon’s quality control. While amazon prime shipping is nice I don’t think I will be ordering anything else for my son through amazon prime because I do not trust their quality control. GET IT TOGETHER AMAZON! ... show more

    • No nipple confusion
These bottles are the only ones my daughter won’t refuse. They literally are “closer to nature” the nipples are soft and the latch is just like it would be on a breast. Thanks to these bottles there has been no nipple confusion and I am able to both breastfeed and bottle feed my little one. It has made the transition to bottle easy for the both of us as I have to go back to work soon. If you’re a working mom like me, please consider these. You won’t regret it! ... show more

    • Milk flows too fast, in my opinion.
These are good bottles, but in my opinion the nipples are not "slow flow" enough, so be wary when introducing before 4-6 weeks if your goal is to breastfeed as long as you want to. They flow way too fast for my 1mo son. Milk drips out fairly fast if you tip a bottle to test the flow. There should be little to no milk dripping out of the nipple so he has to work for it like nursing. ... show more

I bought these because of the good reviews. But I also had the mum bottles as well. Compared to mum botttles these bottles are not that great. I do not like the nipple it goes in every time when baby is eating . My baby gets a lot of gas when I feed him with this bottle. You can literally hear air just going in. I tried to return them but the customer service did not want to help me they just told me to deal with amazon instead of going To them. I was not able to return them but I don’t use them. ... show more

    • nice wide bottle
Love that the nipple is actually wide. My baby would gleak milk out the sides of her mouth with our Dr Brown's bottles. We looked for wider to try to fix the problem and these are key! Definitely less cleaning involved than with Dr Brown's (just 3 parts), so I can even ditch the special bottle brush and straw pipe cleaner I used to use for our cleaning regimen. Wish I had just started with these outright. Also, we started with Dr Browns to prevent tummy trouble. Baby had lots of trouble burping from the start. I was worried about changing, but switching to Tommee Tippees with their anti-colic vent hasn't affected her at all. She burps just as well and hasn't had any extra tummy troubles.     • Good no fuss bottles
I wish I would have started with these instead of the Avent bottles. I was gifted a ton of them at my shower and also recieved some as samples so I was fine with them in the beginning but as time goes on I'm starting not to like them. Dont get me wrong Avent bottles are ok but Tommee Tippees are way better. They dont have any extra parts so very easy to assemble and clean. Also love the slow flow so my baby does not choke and these don't leak thankfully. Also the anticolic vent is built into the nipple and my son adjusted well with no fussiness. He seems to be having an easier time with the nipple. The shape actually looks like a real nipple to me and the design is perfect for babies. Also I repeat..... no extra parts or pieces to take apart which makes cleaning easier! I wish I would have known about these sooner but I'm planning to order more. ... show more

    • Favorite bottles!
I switched from Dr.Browns as those were the bottles everyone recommends as a first time mom that’s what I got..(also tried Avent) They weren’t great and the vent wasn’t any help for spit up and just seemed to be extra parts to keep clean. I had 1 Tomme Tippee bottle and decided to give it a try and I haven’t looked back. I love the way it feels to hold, easy to clean and the vent is great.
