I bought these Tommaso Strada Ready to Ride shoes for my husband, along with a pair for myself, to use on our Peloton bike. I wasn't interested in paying hundreds for the Peloton-branded shoes after spending so much on the bike itself, so these were a reasonable alternative. These shoes are great. We wear them daily and they are incredibly comfortable, sturdy, and attach well to the pedals of the bike with no issues. Friends of ours who have the traditional Peloton-branded shoes are even wowed by the quality of these. Since purchasing these shoes a few months ago, I have recommended them to nearly everybody I know who either has or is interested in purchasing an indoor bike that requires this type of shoe.

No issues at all riding in these shoes. They are my first new pair in 8 years, so I can't tell if the toe box on these is extra wide or if my old shoes were just extra tight. Either way, more room in the toe box than most sneakers I wear as well. They feel like they run about a 1/2 size large.

My Peloton shoes needed replacing and instead of paying the higher fee for their shoes, I decided to look elsewhere. These feel so much more comfortable (not so rigid) than Peloton shoes! The only 'negatives' are that the clips don't have a marking to help you with installation and placement. Also, I would say the size runs 1/2 too big. I got a 11 in mens and could have probably went 10.5.

These are good quality and comfortable shoes. However, because they have bolts for both BV and SPD cleats (I use the BV for my Peloton), the unused bolts (SPD) freely move while pedaling, causing a clicking noise with every pedal. Maybe the noise wouldn't be noticeable using them outside on the road, but indoors the constant clicking noise is unbearable. UPDATE: So I learned that Tommaso makes rubber grommets that hold the unused bolts in place. Once I installed the grommets, the shoes were wonderful! If you buy these shoes, make sure to get the rubber grommets!

This is a good shoe. Well made and fits true to size. Having the clip pre-installed at no extra cost is a good deal ! However, I also got some Shimano shoes. Yes they were more expensive, and yes I also had to pay for some cleats. The shoe is lighter than the Tommaso (which doesn't really matter on a spin bike IMO), but what sole me was the Tommaso has 3 velcro straps as a closure which work fine, but I found that the single strap on the Shimano was way easier to use getting the shoe on and off and adjusting it with one simple motion. So ultimately, I got something else, but you really can't go wrong with the Tommaso either.

Shoes are good for the price. I didn’t want to pay the crazy amount for Peloton branded shoes and I’m glad I didn’t. I do wish it would have a ratchet type strap at the top like some do but the Velcro works fine. I’d buy again.
