They're very comfortable, they're just wide enough to be the right kind of snug without pinching the feet and keep them from going numb. For sizing reference: In normal shoes I wear a 10.5 and in cycling shoes it's closer to 11. So I ordered an 11. Got the shoes in and there was about an inch of clearance from my big toe to the front of the shoe. Ordered a full size down to a 10 and they fit perfectly. This is my first lace up cycling shoe and I bought them specifically for spinning. Tried them for the first time today and I like them a lot. They feel more snug and form fitting than traditional Velcro type and the woven nylon does indeed let your feet breath much more than the full leather ones. I bought these as a second pair for gravel bike riding and I couldn’t be more pleased. First ride in them was a century ride and they were comfortable and light. Did me note: they do not tighten using a BOA type lacing system. It looks similar does not function in the same way.

Shoes fit very comfortably right out of the box. I’ve done a few 30 mile rides with them so far, and haven’t had any problems. I particularly appreciate how breathable they are. And I hit a new personal wattage record while using them this week, so that’s a good sign!

I bought these for husband and he loves them. We bought the spd clips separately and they were easy to install. They fit just right and he likes that they have the 3 velcro straps.

Frankly I can't fully rate them yet as they have only been used on the indoor trainer. I don't race so I don't need the lightest shoe out there. These are a decent replacement for the 12 yo Performance brand shoes that just finally wore out on me. I have wide feet so the fit is perfect where most cycling shoes run on the narrow side for me. The only frustrating thing was the 2 cleat Shimano style plate in the sole that moves around and rattles. I am using Look Delta 3 hole cleats. I had to cut open the bottom of the shoe on the inside to get the two screw base plate out and stop the noise. ... show more
