    • Lightweight, Inexpensive and Top Quality Saddle Hunting Platform!
This is a great, light weight inexpensive saddle hunting platform. Weighing in at 3.5 pounds, it's 12" x12" size makes for stable mobility. Given the price, it's also one that you need not worry about leaving in the woods, should you choose to pre-set (though I use a Python Cable Lock, when I leave one of mine behind for the next morning). The strap is "decent"...but I usually upgrade mine with something a bit more rugged. Definitely worth the money! I have multiples! ... show more

    • Great Platform for Saddle Hunting! Used November 2025 in VA (Got a buck!)
Review Image by Brendan Barry
I will start by saying the gentleman in the main product video has no idea how to properly setup a platform. You always attach it folded on the tree and cinch it down then pull the platform down and away allowing the teeth to bite into the tree and become stable and solid. I will say this about the product, it's solid and portable, I just got back from 4 days of saddle hunting and did not have a single issue with it. It setup quick, and was comfortable for long sits. The adjustable set screw to adjust the angle was nice although I didn't really use it. When it came to getting down it was a breeze to get out. It's on the heavier side but solid. I wish there was a way to lock it together when it's being stowed as it always flops to its open position, I would recommend to the manufacturer to put some kind of a hook or pin to lock it in place. No sound issues with it at all. Great in combination with a one sticking platform. Would buy again ... show more

    • Solid platform if installed correctly
Review Image by Rob
Overall for the money it's a good platform, no real complaints but it is a bit heavy. As another review said, the video of the guy setting it up is doing it wrong. Watch a different video online and you will have much better luck. It is durable, stable, and a good size for me but I'm on the smaller side, if you have size 14 boots or something this might be a bit small. ... show more

    • Very cool
I am very happy with this platform, the last weekend I spent 10 hours on it and i felt very safe and confortable. This platform is not heavy at all and the quality of the built is top notch. I know how to weld aluminum and I am very happy that I did not built one myself but have bought this one instead. ... show more

Adjustable aluminum tree saddle platform designed for quiet stable and comfortable hunting use

    • Worth the buy, but not the best.
It'll work, not a huge fan of how it hugs trees smaller than 12in in diameter. Anything 12in and over it holds nice and tight, but if you need to setup in a tree a little smaller, its very difficult to get set up solid. Its often wiggly, and very uneasy to stand on. My favorite tree size to climb is about 8", and this platform cannot handle it, as Ive tried adjusting the distance between the top teeth to the trunk with no success. All that being said, it is solid as a rock on its own. Very durable, heavy, and trustworthy when properly secured to the tree. If you're cool with climbing thicker trees or thats your only option, this is an awesome budget stand. Defintely heavier than the more expensive stands, but worth the price. ... show more

After needing a platform in a pinch, I had to get one with prime shipping. I was debating between this one and the hawk but I was scared to get this one because of The Chinese name. Don’t let that fool you. This is a well built sturdy platform. I am very impressed and would buy again . It is lightweight and small enough to fit my pack ! Can’t wait to use it ! ... show more
