Worth the money, time and effort to install. The only issue was that the electric cord comes straight out of the back, center of the mirror and there is no recessed area to route it to your electrical source. If trying to plug into a near by socket, the cord holds the mirror off of the wall, preventing it from sitting flush. I chose to hardwire it, and installed a single gang outlet box directly behind the mirror to accommodate the protruding electrical wire. Works great. Look elsewhere if you do not want to cut drywall or install new electrical outlets.

I liked this mirror so much that I purchased a second one for our other downstairs bathroom. This is a bit tricky to install as it does need to have a junction box with power added behind the mirror. I installed this and I did put it on its own switch as I wanted to have a separate shut off from the mirror. If you have the knowledge or know someone that does I highly recommend this. This is the back lighted mirror my favorite. I do have two front lit mirrors that are really nice but not my favorite.

I'll rate it as 5 stars just as this is meant to be a positive review but I haven't used it yet other than installing it. Just got this mirror installed and happy with how it is looking so far. I know people wondered what the backlit style would look like so wanted to post a pic to help other shoppers. Room still being worked on. Was glad contractor had electrical experience as had to tweak setup with a recessed plug receptable in the wall and had to buy/install a new plug so it wouldn't stick out from the wall. We previously wired that plug to a wall switch and plan to operate it with the switch. This backlight is what we were seeking.

Honestly I was expecting it to be brighter, or come with a more soft light instead of it being eye-piercing bright. Installing it was not that easy, especially when it came to assembling the cord and the plug in. Overall, the mirror is the perfect shape and size and I like that the light is behind the mirror. The anti-fog button hardly works as well. Definitely think it should be a lot cheaper.

This mirror went really well with my recent remodel, gives a modern look. The back light is not over-powering and seems to serve as an accent touch that I personally like. I haven't had a chance to use the anti-fog feature so I can't comment on that. The mounting was a challenge since there's no bracket system that you can pre-mount. I used a recommendation from another reviewer and used the shipping box to create a template for marking mounting holes. I didn't use the mounting screws that came with the mirror, I used screws that came with the drywall screw-in anchors that I purchased separately with each anchor rated for 75lbs, more than adequate for the weight of this mirror. Power for the mirror was tapped from the light above and is actuated by a wall switch. Very happy with the product so far and I recommend testing the mirror for functionality prior to installing.

Overall ... its a great mirror .. I purchase for all my property remodels .. a mounting bracket or bar to hang the mirror would make it way easier to install , instead of having to be really precise with the 2 mounting holes on the back of mirror which makes it pretty difficult if you are having to drill holes in a tiled wall , there is no room for any kind of error .
