Just an fyi, you can't slide extra rolls onto the base because you would have to unscrew it each time to get to them. That being said, it's perfect for what it is. It's a good weight so it's not falling over every time you use it. It's very easy to add a new roll, the bar just moves up and down. This tp holder stand is very fine quality. It is a beautiful brushed silver color. It is very sturdy and has a heavy base so it won't move around in use nor tip over. It was very easy to assemble - I didn't even need the instructions. The top part is also very sturdy - a nice, heavy metal built to last. I had a long search to find one like it to replace an older one I was using. I like the lift-up arm that you just slide the roll onto, instead of those cheapy spring-loaded spindles. You can even reload it single-handed. (The one and only thing I would change is to have it made about 4 inches taller, but the high quality more than compensates for that.) Love the look of it. But the functionality is what really makes it. Very heavy so it won’t tip and the cross bar keeps the TP roll in place. Nice holder.

Edit: see photo for solution to unrolling problem. Works like a charm. Really nice look and feel, amazing quality, but for some reason the toilet paper rolls roll too quickly on it. I think I can hack it with something to add friction so it's a small nuisance. It was clearly not designed by someone in the toilet paper industry. So 4 stars for really nice, sturdy, high quality and price. But needs a way to slow the unravel. Many times I've taken a square quickly and looked back to find half the roll unspooled on the floor. ... show more

Chrome is correct for faucet material matching and it is the correct weight for use. No tipping over because of too light. Easy to use and move around. Stores out of sight between toilet and vanity if desired. Great design.
