I bought these to hang curtains to frame my windows. I wanted a pop of color in my living room and these were just the item I had in mind for the look I wanted to achieve. The holders are of great quality, sturdy, and easy to install. I will probably order more and use them as towel holders in my bathrooms. The only downside is with all hangers the Allen wrench is always hard to use when up next to tight spaces like a wall, although not much can be done about that. Overall great product!

The towel bar is already coming off the wall after being up for a week the bar attached to the wall section is not sturdy at all.

Not in the official instructions but I was able to dismantle and set up in the opposite direction, even with the set screw being on bottom where it's supposed to be. Now a month or so later it has gotten loose so i'll have to take it down and tighten again from the inside but that is from my mini-hack and not the design -- and it should be completely doable, maybe with a touch lock-tite on the threads. (PS I am being asked to rate sturdiness, ease of installation, and suction power. There is not suction cup on this so that makes no sense.)

As an experienced DIYer (just remodeled our bathrooms) I was so disappointed that this doesn’t work because we really loved the look of it and it matches our other towel racks. However there are a couple significant issues with these racks. TLDR: does not attach securely to wall. 1. The screws supplied are too small/narrow for the drywall anchors provided, they just barely screw in but the slightest push or tug and they strip out the anchor, leaving the backing plate loose and wiggly. I had to use other wider diameter screws I already had. 2. Once I got the backing plate secured to the wall I found out that the towel rack does not attach securely to the backing plate. There is a divot in the backing plate where the placement screw in the rack is supposed to secure to, however it pushes the rack away from the wall as you tighten it. The towel rack also rotates with the slightest pressure on the arm of the rack. I tried rotating the backing plate 180 degrees to avoid the divot and while that did keep the rack closer to the wall it still rotated very easily with little pressure on the arm. I would not recommend this product whatsoever, it looks nice, but it just simply doesn’t work.

The installation hardware that comes with this towel bar is poorly designed. The holes in the mounting piece are bigger than the screws provided (first photo). Even when you mount it with the drywall anchors, the towel bar will not be sturdy and will rock around on the wall. I drilled two small holes into the mounting hardware that were more appropriately sized for the screws (second photo). When I did this (and used only those two holes for the screws), the mounting hardware was more sturdy and the towel bar didn't rock around on the wall after it was installed. After all was said and done, I like the towel bar. It is functional, and I like the style. But be ready to do a little extra work if you want it to be sturdy. It took me awhile to figure this out. Sharing so others can save time and aggravation.
