So far, it seems to work well for aluminum and overall appears to be good quality after a couple initial uses. I did find that the provided mold was on the smaller size and would recommend getting a larger size for your needs. My hobby utilizes custom molds so it wasn't as much as an issue for me. Would recommend for a beginner/early hobbyist furnace.

Updated review 5/1/26... Toauto reached out to me and offered me a replacement free of charge. It arrived today and works great. Great customer service! A+++ Not as good as I was hoping it would be. My first copper melt went fine but it struggled to hit melting temp of 1100 C (took well over an hour but maybe it was the wind?). I preheated per instructions but the ceramic inner chamber still cracked at about 400C (still seemed to work ok). My 2nd attempt to melt copper failed as the initial input melted fine but the amount I added got stuck in the crucible and refused to melt at all. Had to shut it down and wait for it to cool. The mold they include is way too small (unless you like pouring quarter sized ingots) and I threw it in the garbage as soon as I took it out of the box.

This has not performed up to expectations and I have used it three times and the plastic on the control panel is starting to melt to the point. It’s getting hard to read the LED screen. The buttons are starting to get deformed and all in all this is not a good investment for anybody who wants to do this as a hobby or even full-time aluminum does not melt at the proper temperature so that tells me the temperature gauge is off I did brass I couldn’t even begin to get it to Melton. Tell it sad it was going to be melting at 1025° which is well over the melting point of aluminum all in all I’m not impressed. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Save your money and buy a better quality one thank you you.

TOATU hasnt disappointed so far, this came with everything needed to start learning how to smelt metal & shape them into your desired form! It feels sturdy enough to add onto its reliability, and navigating its functions especially for a beginner was quite easy. Starting with the quality of the gloves, having used it 5 times, it hasn't deteriorated or lost its heat resistant capabilities. The pieces themselves haven't disappointed either, after use they've proved easy enough to clean up & put away for a later use! The smelter itself isn't too big, which is great for me, since I can keep it on one side without it occupying a lot of space. Love it, cant wait to learn how to give metal other forms!
