This is a fun game, but a bit short. Many would say even short for $20, but I find it a lot of fun. I had been wanting to play this game since I saw it at a convention in 2017 and got to play it for about 5 minutes due to a long line to try it out, and was frustrated that there was no home version for a long time, so I was glad to get one. It's good they added some extra levels, but it still doesn't seem quite like a $30 package. You can finish it in an hour. Though you have to keep in mind this was meant for quick arcade sessions to begin with, and wasn't designed for most people to spend more than an hour. Unlimited attempts rather than costing quarters, as with many arcade games, makes it seem short (you do have limited lives/continues per level, shared between players, but never lose the progress once you complete a level - I never had to repeat one on default difficulty). I think this serves as some preservation of this arcade game a bit more than being a $30 game itself. I say this also because Shredder's Revenge is a lot better, and has a lot more work put into it, and the version with all the DLC (along with an artbook, stickers, and a coupon for a free small pizza in the physical copy) is only $5 more, and adds a lot to that original base game which was already the way better of the two. This did come first however and is a solid effort at a TMNT arcade game at a time where there hadn't been a decent one, and Shredder's Revenge wasn't around to compare it to in 2017 when it was made for arcades. I do think it should be a bit cheaper, but it is fun, and I'm glad the experience isn't so hard to come by only in rare arcades that have fancy new games as it was before. If you wanna have fun with a decent TMNT game that doesn't really do much new, but is fun and short, go for it. I think it is bound to get cheaper and eventually be part of bundles etc. but I'm happy to get a physical copy just cause this piece of TMNT game history was missing a way to play at home. ... show more

Short and not worth $30. Probably could’ve been a $10 app on your phone. Waste for this version of TMNT. Could’ve had a good game.
