At first I was wary about them being so expensive. But they are worth EVERY penny y. My kids are pretty little but these are SUPER easy to use. Just fill a bucket with water and they just drop them in. Show them how to open them and the magnets are so strong they snap themselves shut while floating in the water. This part alone kept my kiddos occupied. My son played with them for 3.5 houses straight! After he was done just using them as intended, we drew “monsters” on our fence with chalk and he would “wash” them off by throwing the balloons at them. Then we lined up some empty cans and cups and he would shoot the balloons to knock them off. All in all these are super great quality and we have no complaints!

These are absolutely the best water balloons! They are so easy to use, my 2 year old could do it by himself in a bucket of water (which means mom gets to SIT and watch)! I love that they are reusable and don't leave little balloon bits everywhere and the kids never "run out" of balloons like with normal ones so they play with these for a long time. I bought a second set and everyone who has seen ours loved them and bought some too. I just leave them open to dry on the patio before I put them away so they don't mold. We've had them 3 months, very durable so far, no issues.

The way these self-close, full of water, is downright magical. I might never go back to disposable water balloons. I had intended to buy hundreds of those easy fill water balloons for my kid’s birthday party but this came up in the suggested products. If I had purchased the easy fill balloons the water fight would have been over in minutes and I’d have been cleaning up balloon bits for weeks. Instead, with 7 kids and 18 of these reusable balloons we were entertained for nearly an hour and no mess afterwards! We had a baby pool and several coolers filled with water at different points around the driveway. The kids started off throwing them but quickly picked up on the weakness of giving up your weapon and so they adapted to having one in each hand and running up to another person and squeezing them so water bursts out. The balloons seem to have survived well in spite of landing many times on pavement. I hope they store well because I know silicone can get sticky when not used for a while. We’ll find out when we get them out next summer. For now I’m thrilled.

This was the first set of reusable water balloons that purchased, and I have since gotten two more sets for a total of 35 (same brand, but different colors). I originally purchased them for my 4 year old's beach birthday party. We had a bucket of water on the beach and filled all of them for the kids to just pick up and throw. At that age they need some assistance with filling them, and they don't always throw them hard enough to break them open. I think slightly older kids would have an easier time of it. They would be great for water balloon fights or use in a pool. Only negatives: They do not float if there are no air bubbles. I wouldn't recommend for use on a boat or places where the water is too deep/cloudy to retrieve them. The first beach we used them on we had no issues with the sand. The second beach clearly had some metallic rock in the sand which was attracted to the magnets and caused them to not seal properly until it was wiped off.
