These hammers are built to the expected quality, not professional tool truck but a quality home / DIY quality. The overall feel is nice and vibration is absorbed well. The handle to head attachment seems solid and appears to be glued or epoxied in place, as can be seen by small amounts of excess just under the head. The only complaints I would have are the 2 ball hammers and the rubber mallet have a handle with a handle designed for a one direction use, making reversing the hammer slightly uncomfortable at times. Both the 3 pound hammers have a unidirectional handle, both sides of the handle being the same. The hammers come with a lifetime warranty from Titan, so should the heads ever break or separate from the handles you are covered. If it is not clear from the description, this is a heavier hammer set with the lightest ball hammer being 1 pound. I purchased this as a supplement to a smaller size set of ball pein hammers which are more suited for more common and standard daily type uses. ... show more

Purchased these nearly a year ago and have used them daily as an ATV mechanic at a dealership and I've had zero issues. I don't use the rubber mallet becuse it feels pretty soft for my needs and is a bit bulky. Honestly don't think it would hold up that well for long term mechanic work so I did buy a Snap On instead. Also wish this set had a brass hammer option since I do use one regularly. Other than that I've used the rest of them daily for things like knocking out U-Joints, or hammering on pickle forks to break stubborn axles out of transmissions and none of them have broken. The smaller ball pein is used a lot with a punch to knock the little C-Clips back into the new U-Joints but I've also used it to wail on stuff pretty hard when it happened to be the closest hammer and it didn't hurt it any so I expect to get a lot of use out of the entire set. The handles are also comfortable and absorb shock nicely. If they ever do break I'll probably upgrade them but for a year of heavy use I've definitely gotten my moneys worth out of these. I bought these to use as I forged some nights the right weight and size to pound steel down to the size I need it to make the night the only thing I don't like is one rooms a rubber mallet and I don't see too much usage in night making with it but I do in my camping so I can put the stakes for my easy up canopy in the ground easier and also so I can stake down my outside kitchen ... show more

out of the box I was missing the three lb sledge how ever I did receive two 3 lb cross pen hammers along with two sizes of ball pen hammer and a large rubber mallet. that being said they appear to be good quality hammers.

I have to admit, I should have read the description a little more closely. This kit is about ten times the hammer that I actually need. But it's a good set, and no way am I sending it back. I have like a little 4oz ball-peen hammer in my box at work, and wanted to add some more just in case I really need to beat the $%&! out of something. Good value for the money. There are sine videos out there on how to make these hammers better for black smithing and blade making. Over all it is a good started set at a good price. Wear a good welding glove or work glove to avoid blisters.
