  • Worked perfect
I used this with an impact. A matter of second and the thermostat was out. Awesome and a decent price

  • Worth the money spent.
This makes it extremely easy to remove an element from a water heater. I had one that was rusted in and this socket worked well with a breaker bar to get it out when other tools from Lowe's failed to move it.

  • What they don't tell you.
Lousy description. One would assume that a water heater socket would fit the water heater plug. Unfortunately, the description does not mention the diameter - 1-1/2 in. - compared to the head of a water heater plugs which is 7/8 in.

  • Worked when standard socket wouldn't
Removed original elements from a 34 year old steel tank. Using this socket and a impact wrench had the elements out in seconds.
