Product works great, I’ve owned a few of these in the past. The only thing that aggravated me with this one is that little black plastic tag that sits in the socket. It says to use scissors to cut the tab off so you can pull it out of the socket, however the plastic was so hard that it broke the handle on my kitchen shears from squeezing so hard. Ended up having to use flush cutters and pliers to rip the plastic apart just to get it out of the socket… ... show more

These are great and perfect for undoing or torquing bolts/nuts that are 17mm. The length is helpful with wheel bolts since those are often recessed a little bit, which makes it more difficult to remove them if you need to use a breaker-bar. The white sleeve is also great for protecting the finish of your wheels; especially if you have alloys. You can remove the sleeve if you don't want it there or if you need an even thinner walled socket, though it's pretty thin walled even with the sleeve. I've gotten this style socket in a number of sizes from Titan, and they've all been really great! I don't use them professionally, so I can't say how they'd hold up in a busy shop, but I'm confident they'd hold up very well. I actually have been really happy with tools from Titan, so I think you'll be more than pleased with this socket and you'll probably go for more of their tools after you get to try this one out a bit. ... show more

I read a few reviews on these before ordering that the products broke when using for the first time. I bought this for my C8 Corvette and the torque specs for the new vettes are very high. I was worried about some cheap Chinese metal crumbling on the 1st attempt putting torque on the lug nuts. No problem here. Horrible Quality. Used once on a C8 Corvette black lugnuts Every single Lugnut got severely scratched and marred by the Socket. Not good quality. Also after literally 1 use on 4 sockets there is green paint transfer to the nuts and scratching on both the the socket and the lugnuts. A waste of money and damage to the car!!! very expensive mistake buying this. ... show more
