The product works exactly as intended, great for removing lug nuts without scratching or marring the rim and lugs and the extra length prevents your breaker bar or torque wrench from hitting the car. The socket arrived just as you see it in the pic -- with the plastic sleeve cracked at the end. It fits much better on the lug nuts than an impact socket, so no complaints from me. If you are buying this to protect some fancy wheels from being scratched up, keep looking.
