This foot looks exactly like the J foot my Brother machine has. However the bar where the shank clips onto the foot is a tad wider then the shank so the foot can slide about ever so slightly from side to side. This is probably not an issue for garment sewing, but for 1/4" quilt piecing its not going to work. Sending it back. ... show more

I have the brother SE630. I misplaced my original “J” presser foot so I figured I’d just use one of the other foot that came with my machine until I found my “J” foot. What a nightmare that was. I didn’t find my “J” and the other presser feet couldn't do the job quite as good as “J” can which was frustrating. There is nothing like the all purpose presser foot “J” for sewing. It just glides through fabric like a champ. Shipping is fast, quality of the foot is just as good as the original and all is well now with my sewing machine. 👏 ... show more
