I waited a few weeks before posting my review bc buying S Korean products are new to me. I grew up in the 90s when compact makeup was a thing. I am so glad I took a chance on something I’ve never heard about bc it’s been a game changer for me. I’ve always heard Korean beauty products are solid choices bc of their high pigmentation and quality ingredients. I am so glad I took a chance on a brand that I have never heard of bc it worked out great! It arrived quickly and came packaged in a beautifully styled mirrored compact. The sponge is of very high quality and the foundation is separated by a sifted type screen and clicks closed with a hinge door type design. This was such a nice feature bc it prevents messy leaks or accidental dry out. (A yay for people like me who throw stuff in a bag or are terrible about forgetting to close things tightly) It’s advertised as a 24hr wear. I was impressed with the coverage and how well it held up throughout the day, but I removed it at the end of the day. It was cool and light on application. An even and buildable coverage, it dries down to a luminous finish and almost seems like it wears better throughout the day! I’ve never had a makeup that I can say has ever done that. Perhaps it’s the minerals and vitamins in the foundation? This is so awesome for women who are looking for this type of foundation and it doesn’t settle into those fine little lines. I purchased 21W after searching through YouTube videos of what I thought would be the best shade for my skin. The swatch on my arm seems a bit too yellow for my complexion but since that’s the lightest part of my body it matches quite well. I am Italian so I have an olive undertone to my skin. It is light weight and breathable. It has incredible coverage, which I’ve seen on YouTube so I used very little product for a more natural look to just even out any redness or bags. I decided to do my makeup look without concealer to see how it holds up and it looks really great so far. The foundation is definitely buildable and the amount of product you get is great for the price. Some people have expressed difficulty when using the sponge but it is easy to get into crevices you just have to bend it around one finger. It dries pretty quickly so I worked in sections. I usually use setting powder but I wanted to see if I could get away without it. I wanted a glowy look and this foundation definitely accomplishes that but it still feels a little tacky without powder for my liking. It doesn’t seem to be transferring to my clothes though which is nice! Super easy to blend and very easy to use. The product isn’t scented. I only just put it on so I’m not sure the longevity of the product just yet but I have high hopes. The packaging is very lightweight and very cute. This compact is extremely high coverage and lasts over 24 hours (it passed the "forgetting to remove makeup night before" test- woke up with full coverage). However, this product oxidizes far too much for my liking. Initially it looks amazing, but throughout the day I started to look more orange. The formula is suitable for oily skin types. I'm dry to normal, and it ended up making me look cakey around the areas where my pores are larger. I found that the silver compact oxidizes less and is less drying. (I am on my Dad's account writing this review) I probably tried over 10 cushions on Amazon, and this one really stood out to me. I have very dry skin and sometimes at the end of my work day my skin is a little oily. I was a little worried about this one being too cakey and dry for me, but I really wanted a cushion with a semi matte finish and light coverage so I can still see my skin underneath (i just want to cover some redness). This cushion on top of my hydrating skin care is exactly what I was looking for! This product is very layer able. I can apply a little for a natural look and more for a going out look without it gripping onto dry spots and getting too cakey. I'm also super impressed with how the product does not crease up by the nostrils. Obviously no product is going to stay on forever perfectly, but I am so impressed with how it lasted throughout my work day. I also love how makeup applies on top of this. I have fair cool tone skin and the color porcelain is perfect for my skin tone. The ONLY con is that the small size cushion does not have enough product. It's drying out after 3 uses. I just bought a big one. No big deal. OTHER TIR TIR CUSHIONS: I have tried every Tir Tir cushion except the red one (because I really do not like full coverage) I was not pleased at all. The white, silver, and pink cushions were all too cakey and high coverage for me. I did not notice a huge difference between them all besides the white one being too shiny. The silver and pink were very similar except pink is slightly higher coverage. The color porcelain in those forumlas made my face look too white. The black cushion is superior for sure. ... show more
