We have 2 children, 3 dogs, two cats, a lizard and chickens. Needless to say, I needed help with the chores. This is definitely a must have. Ordered the S7 Stretch Steam. So far 5 stars. I was on the fence for a while because of the price and didn’t want to get it in and it not work. I bought a shark hydrovac that I will be returning because it was a lower cost. Definitely not worth it. The self cleaning feature on the shark does not dry and splashes water on the floor. I had to fill and empty the tank 3x for my 1200sqft downstairs. I had to go over spots multiple times to get it to work. Doesnt move as smoothly and I cannot get under furniture all the way. Plus left a space between the machine and the wall where the roller cannot get. Okay, enough about the shark. Pros with the Tineco: Smooth moving and self propelling. Lays flat and cleans on all sides of the roller brush. Larger water tank. Didn’t have to change at all or empty disposal until I finished cleaning. The heated self clean is a must have. I love that I didn’t have to clean this beyond emptying the water and dirt. Cleans much faster which makes this chore much easier. Battery was great. I got down to 63% out of 100%. Handles area rugs way better than the shark. Picks up much more dirt than the shark. We have chickens, this thing sucked up muck from the rugs and a loose feather. Which the shark couldn’t handle at all. Doesn’t get tangled in cords. My kids can use it. Cons with Tineco: Dirty water reservoir, to empty, you pull up, when I did this I got a small splash of the dirty water on myself. A bit annoying. Heavy, but not too heavy. Self propelling helps this issue. The height of the rollar/ water tank area is a bit high. But that will just be an adjustment. Neither pro nor con: Self cleaning is loud but doesn’t last long. More happy I don’t have to do it myself.

Excellent product. ALMOST as good as having Rosie the Robot Maid from The Jetsons! It even TALKS to give you instructions, though not as charming and sassy as Rosie but definitely a little Bossy. ;-D Do follow her instructions to keep your machine in good shape and avoid bad odors. It cleans, steams, sucks up wet messes and ALL without needing to use chemical detergents. This is great for INFANTS, CHILDREN, PETS and SENSITIVE INDIVIDUALS. Excellent for quick pickups too - wet or dry spills, muddy paw prints. The only thing it really can't do super well is edges. It gets pretty close (within a 1/2") but be prepared to do the baseboards and edges separately. If your floors are reasonably clean to begin with then easy-peasy. Heavy grime may require a few passes and frequent tank changes. Once that is done then MAINTAINING your CLEAN FLOORS is a BREEZE. FAR EASIER THAN HAULING A MOP AND BUCKET AROUND! It has MOTORIZED FORWARD PROPULSION and LAYS FLAT to get UNDER BEDS and most furniture without moving them. A great BACK SAVER! If your EXPECTATIONS are REALISTIC you will be VERY HAPPY with THIS DEVICE!

Could be the best appliance/home cleaning gadget I’ve ever bought. Incredibly simple to use—it’s dummy proof. Gets the floors super clean, and fast! Battery life is adequate, especially while using automatic mode. Criticisms (and these are teeny and nit picky): I would like to see this corded, or have battery packs that could be swapped out for bigger jobs, extended steam cleaning, etc. The top of the dirty water reservoir is a little tough to open. It seals firmly, and there’s nothing to “grab.” As with all carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, etc., I’ve used, it’d be nice to have a larger dirty water reservoir. Having said that, I don’t feel like I’m constantly emptying it, like I have with other brands.

I loved this device at first. Received it the first week of December 2025. By March the water reservoir was leaking at the seams. I submitted a warranty request and was approved but told they didn't have that replacement part and wouldn't until the end of April. I was not thrilled to have a device i could not use for the better part of 2 months but as I was past my return period I didn't really have a choice but to wait. I checked in at the end of April and was told they wouldn't be in stock until the beginning of May. Beginning of May I was told end of May. It is now June and I have a device I have been unable to use since the beginning of March and still have not been notified of when I will receive my replacement part.

I reluctantly purchased after my husband insisted, but boy am I glad I did. This cordless steam vac is by far the nicest tool for floors that we’ve ever seen. It is so easy to use, and acts like it is self-propelled. I love the way it talks to you and tells you when to empty the dirty water tank. I can’t imagine trying to do floors without it now.

I got my Tineco steam mop yesterday and couldn’t wait to try it. It was super easy to assemble — took just about a minute! After charging it for a few hours, I gave it a go, and wow — I’m impressed! I’m not a very strong person, and at first it felt a bit heavy. But once I turned it on, it basically moved itself! I hardly had to use any effort, which was such a nice surprise. I used Auto Mode first and cleaned my whole first floor in about 15 minutes. Then I switched to Steam Mode for a few sticky spots, and it handled them perfectly. I also love the self-cleaning mode — it’s so easy and convenient! The floors look great, it’s easy to use, and I actually enjoyed cleaning. Love it!

I had an s5 and really loved it so I thought the s7 would be much better especially with the steam function. It’s pretty heavy and the steam is a very mild light steam so it helps to loosen dirt and stains but certainly can’t get out any tough ones. The extra money this S7 cost compared to S5 isn’t worth it. I won’t go through the hassle to return this because it does get the job done but I don’t think it’s worth the money and would recommend getting the S5 instead.
