  • Excellent cleaner
Style: S9 Artist Steam
Amazing. Exceeded expectations Self propelled and effortless Great on patterned linoleum and hardwood. Excellent cleaning, cleaned my linoleum that wasn’t done in months. The power was enough to do three rooms and the dirty water was pitch black It laid 180degree flat and got under my bed and other furniture It’s truly worth every $ ... show more

  • I’ve been an only-by-Dyson guy forever. But this, OMG!
Style: S9 Artist Steam
The media could not be loaded. We have some ground in dirt on our wood flooring. And it has a tendency of coming back when I scrape it off. Could be our dogs. Could be my shoes. Dunno’. I’ve been looking for a while for a cordless electric tool for such cleaning. I looked at the Dyson V15s, but it’s not designed for this kind of problem. Eventually, I decided that I wanted a cordless mop/vacuum/steam tool, with an LED light to show the way. I wanted something Dyson would’ve made. Finally, I found this one, and it is Dyson-amazing. It really does what they say it would do. It is indeed self-propelled once you turn it on. I’ve never experienced that and it’s terrific. The vacuum works quite well, and has two settings: auto and max. Then there’s the steam cleaning mode. It did a great job with the ground in dirt on my wood floors. It didn’t quite get a few of the most ground in ones, but it softened them so that it was easy to scrape them off with a plastic scraper. My wife, the, white glove of the house, was unusually impressed! This machine not only talks to you, but visually displays what it’s doing. And it certainly built at Dyson level. When you’re done cleaning, the machine will ask you to empty and clean the dirty water container. At first, this was a little hard for me and took time to do, but then I realized that you could actually take the dirty water container apart and very, very quickly, flush it out. Instructions for this are actually printed on the top of the dirty water container. Don’t miss this! It comes with a very nice charging pad that the machine goes on. It’s such a high-quality machine that it makes cleaning fun. It costs a ton of pennies and it’s worth every one of them! ... show more

  • LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!! TINECO is what you want!
Style: S9 Artist Steam
After using many other brands and reading hundreds of reviews I purchased my first Tineco Floor Cleaner in 2021. I made the right decision and I have never looked back! I have several versions of the floor cleaners and I just purchased this latest steam mop and, WOW! All of the Tineco products are of exceptional quality, well designed, easy to operate and takes the work out of cleaning your floors. I promise! These days, almost everyone has been on the hard surface floor cleaner journey. Your journey can stop here and you too will be so happy you chose Tineco! ... show more

  • Steam feature is useless, do not buy
Style: S9 Artist Steam
DO NOT BUY! Save $6000 and get the regular model. This is absolutely not worth the $1000 price. I have bought the $300 and $400 versions and they’re basically the same in cleaning performance. The steam feature makes the appearance of steam and drains the battery but doesn’t clean any better. The lights and little screen and motorized movement are completely unnecessary. This is a great product category but this trim level is totally stupid. ... show more

  • Solid Contender
Style: S9 Artist Steam
Tineco S9 Artist Steam vs Roborock Steam Ultra I recently had the chance to test both the Tineco S9 Artist Steam and Roborock’s new wet-dry/steam options side by side, and while both are impressive, the Roborock model wins out in my book. Here’s a breakdown of how they stack up, and why I’d opt for the Roborock. What I looked at (criteria) To compare fairly, I judged them on: • Cleaning performance (especially on sticky or dried messes) • Ease of use and maneuverability • Features like self-clean, drying, app/smart controls • Maintenance & reliability • Real-world tradeoffs (battery life, noise, etc.) The Tineco S9 Artist Steam – strengths and caveats: The Tineco S9 Artist Steam – strengths and caveats What it does well • Tineco’s HyperSteam tech can heat water to high temps (reportedly 284 °F) to loosen stubborn grime. • It’s hybrid: vacuum + steam/mop in one unit, so you don’t always need separate devices. • The design is thoughtful: the head is low-profile, it can lay nearly flat to reach under furniture, and its maneuverability is enhanced by Tineco’s “SmoothDrive” / motorized dual wheels. • The self-cleaning process (rolling mop pad gets scraped and dried) helps reduce manual upkeep. • Reviewers praise how well it handles tough stains (e.g. berries, sticky spills) compared to standard wet mops. Where it falls short (and where Roborock has the advantage) • Battery / runtime is impacted when you’re using steam. In heavy modes, it can drain faster than expected. • It can be a bit noisy, especially during self-clean/drying mode. • The app integration, while available, feels secondary. You can’t always trigger the mop clean cycle via app, for example. • Because it’s a hybrid, it’s less specialized for certain tasks vs. a more focused machine. Some reviews point out that for purely “leave it and forget it” cleaning (especially for larger homes or more floor area), a robot or more autonomous device might be more convenient. • On certain delicate floor types (e.g. some laminates), using steam might require caution — Tineco notes that steam mode is best suited for sealed hard floors. Overall, the S9 Artist Steam is a strong machine, especially when you want hands-on control of tough messes but it has tradeoffs in autonomy, efficiency, and noise. After using the S9 Artist Steam and studying Roborock’s direction, here’s why I lean Roborock: 1. Stronger specs + greater scrubbing force: The announced 22,000 Pa suction and 33 N downward pressure of the Roborock steam models give me confidence it will remove stuck messes with less manual effort. 2. Better autonomous / maintenance features: The self-cleaning, steam-based roller washing + drying in the Roborock design is more promising to reduce my hands-on maintenance over time. If it just works reliably, that convenience is worth a lot. 3. Maneuverability + edge cleaning: Roborock’s claims of full 180° lay-flat turning and very tight wall-edge performance make me believe fewer spots will be missed (especially in corners). 4. Futureproofing & ecosystem: Roborock’s maturity in smart cleaning, mapping, and control gives me confidence that their steam / upright line will integrate better over time. (Plus in my judgment, their robot vac side gives them more experience to pull from.) 5. Real-world drawbacks are surmountable: Yes, steam modes will drain battery. Yes, the self-clean cycles may be noisy. But I’m willing to accept those if the primary cleaning performance is superior. With Tineco, I felt I was more limited by those tradeoffs. ... show more

  • cordless, powerful, self cleaning
Style: Floor One S7 Artist
I couldn’t wait to try this new toy, and wow—it really does feel like magic cleaning! The cordless design makes it super easy to zip around, and powered self-moving makes the cleaning super easy, even along the edges! Nothing else I’ve tried gets into those spots this well. Best part? It quick-dries itself with super hot water and steam, so I don’t have to deal with a soggy mess after cleaning. Honestly, it makes scrubbing feel effortless. My floors and kitchen look amazing—love it! BTW, it already came with a bottle of cleaning solution. ... show more
