I had this case for a few months now and I loved it. It was great for note taking and drawing. It is cute, but not worth it. I noticed a large scratch along my Apple Pencil. At first it was fine, but I guess over time of taking out the pencil to charge it, the case would scratch the pencil in the same spot. The media could not be loaded. My previous pencil holder I purchased was not holding up to my expectations, after working with customer service, I now know why! The previous holder I had, I wasn’t able to screw the cap on and off. I tried thinking that maybe it’d work, but and it just kept spinning and spinning…needless to say, there inlies the problem. BECAUSE it didn’t twist on, it popped off. The new pencil holder I have, I love and it works perfectly the way it was intended. In my experience, and I have owned multiple of these (one for each pencil version) two things could make this better would be: a darker pink and the ability to charge my Apple Pencil 2 without taking it out. Otherwise, it does what it says it will do - most importantly, it protect the tip of my pencil. It is easy to remove and insert the pencil. It looks like a pencil, which is cute. It retracts and clicks just like a pen. It keeps my pencil safe. I am not even annoyed about removing it to charge my pencil. It’s that good. ... show more

Bought this to trade off with a "normal" pen style case without the cut out and I am impressed. The window does line up great for double tapping, but the case is tight which I'm sure is a good thing. It is a little difficult to get the pencil out for charging but overall it is a great case.

Cool concept but a little too big for my hands and I don’t even have small hands (I’m a 5’7” woman, so i have pretty long fingers and big hands all-in-all) and i still found that these too be too big an hard to grip because of it overly bulky size. Also, if you don’t screw the top on right, it’ll pop off and go flying when you try and open it later to take the pencil out 🫠 this was something already mentioned in a lot of the other comments and I legit thought they might have just been exaggerating but nope—it’ll FLY OFF. Because of its bulky size as well, the grooves to get to the tap part is deep and feels super uncomfortable personally. Scratched a gouge in my pencil. I’m assuming it’s from whatever makes it click open or shut. I know it was from this case because the pencil was brand new. Pencil still works but very upset that something that was supposed to protect did the opposite.
