I have tons of solar lighting in my flower bed in front of my house to light up the front of my house. The majority of them are the stake in the ground kind. These don't last long and are prone to being broken from being accidentally stepped on. I'm moving away from those kind of lights and only going to buy these Rock lights going forward. You can kick these on accident and they just keep on working. My sprinklers get them wet and doesn't affect them. The light is very bright and the bulb pivots up or down. You can also recess The Rock into the ground to tilt it up or down more. The Rock just totally blends in with everything. My only regret is that I didn't discover these sooner and only used these kind instead of the steak in the ground type. I definitely recommend this solar Rock light. ... show more

I failed to read the fine print to discover this is a COOL WHITE light, rather than a switchable warm/cool LED as with many of the others on the search page. One of my lights worked out of the box and the other did not. When I removed the batter covers I saw that one had the rechargeable battery (exp. date 11/07/2021) and the other had a AA alkaline battery! Pictures are posted. Curious as to whether it would work with an alkaline battery I placed a new one in the light but it did not work. Disappointed that both did not come with the correct battery as stated in the description. I do like the cool white light, but unfortunately it is not bright enough to illuminate my trees. They are better used to illuminate landscape features that are lower to the ground which is what I will do. The working light did turn on at dusk and off at dawn. Overall, for the price I think they are a good value if being used for path lighting or to illuminate smaller landscape features. If the light doesn’t work, it may simply need to be charged although my one surprisingly worked out of the box.) Also, make sure it is turned on(button on bottom). If after charging the light does not work, remove the battery cover and make sure the correct batter is installed. Replacement batteries are not expensive and can be easily purchased at Amazon as well as in stores. ... show more

Arrived with a charge that lasted all night. Very easy to adjust lens. I love these.. no fooling around to adjust like a regular solar spotlight. Perfect amount of light. Price was fair considering what I received. Perfect size. Quality product.

Initially, these worked great. I purchased 6 to go around our fish pond, and the lights were a nice touch. 4 days after having them it rained for 2 days. We noticed that the lights didn't go on after the rainy days and attributed it to the lack of sun. The next day was sunny, and still, no lights were on. I went out the next morning to check and 3 of the rock lights were waterlogged. I replaced the batteries in all 6 stones (with very good name-brand rechargeables) and still no lights! Ended up returning all 6 for a refund as replacements seemed futile. ... show more
