I was delighted with this purchase, given the comfortable yet sturdy feel of these boots. They feel lighter than I expected. The leather tones and finish are attractive. I purchased my normal size; the width feels snug at the ball of my foot, but I wouldn't go with any other size. I guess my only caution would be that if you have wide feet, consider sizing up or ordering a wide.

I almost never buy any footwear with out trying them on first, but I was desperate and needed something for a new job, quickly. These boots are the best, they fit perfectly. They did not need a breaking in period and are actually more comfortable than the sneakers I was wearing. I will order another pair in a different color when they go on sale.

I almost got the Timberland Norwood boots.. because they were cheaper. Then these had a "Used-like new" pair of these pop up and I am so happy I got them! They were basically new, no damage, and it looked like someone may have tried on one shoe, lol! The Norwood's are a bit more narrow and that little bit of extra space helps a lot with comfort. And these boots are generally more comfortable, not counting the width. These fit true to size so no need to size up. I'm not big on brown leather or straight black so this almost brownish grey color is perfect for me and it does look better in person. If you're deciding between the Mt Maddsen and the Norwoods..go with the Mt. Maddsen.

These are the second pair I’ve ordered to try, and I’ll say that the Ariat boots don’t even compare to these. There’s actual rubber grip bottoms. Not only a few bucks cheaper, but quality is great. I will say only downfall is if you got Wide feet, these will not be comfortable for you. I’m a size 10 and haven’t needed wide since weight loss, but these do fit snug. I wish there was more colors than brown or tan, but otherwise these were beautiful coming out of the box!

This is by far the most comfortable, versatile boot I’ve ever worn. Due to automobile wreck, I must wear a sizable insert in one shoe. This boot easily fits the insert. Started wearing the boots all day from day one with no blisters. I’ve had them for 6 weeks now and I basically live in them on our farm. Had to walk through standing water/mud after getting my tractor hung up. With the water up to my ankle, my foot did not get wet! I very rarely write reviews, but this product deserves to be praised highly! I would absolutely recommend this boot for hiking, working, comfort, and style. It is very cute with a pair of jeans on a night out. Only caution is that it runs small so I had to order a full size up from my normal size.
