I usually wear a women’s size 6.5. A lot of people say Timberlands run big. I read the mixed reviews on these Timberland Kinsley boots before purchasing them. Some say it runs big and others say it’s true to size. I decided to get a size 6 but it was too small so I exchanged them for my regular size 6.5. It’s definitely true to size and fits perfectly. I dont think it’s heavy to walk in with the added heel it’s actually comfortable. I love how it makes me taller being 5’3”. Great looking boot and seem to be a good quality, but they're the most uncomfortable Timberlands I've ever owned. The padding at the top of the boot does nothing, so if you'll be hiking or walking a lot in these plan to wear very heavy socks to protect your legs. I had the same experience some other reviewers had - even with the cushioning at the top, it rubs your leg very badly and leaves red/black and blue marks. My legs still hurt! ... show more

I wear a size 11 medium, and not only do these for well and are comfortable, they are so flattering on my feet! The only problem is the top cuff is to tight around the back of my lower leg. I get around this by not lacing them up all the way, and wearing a boot cuff at the top for extra cushion. Add some thicker laces for a fancier look.
