I have wanted these boots for YEARS! I refused to pay $300.00 for them when they were first released. I finally snatched them up for $99.99, NO TAX and Free Shipping! As soon as they arrived I had to wear them...I wear anything from 8 1/2 in sneakers and 9 in boots...However I know from my other Timberlands I need to go down 1/2 a size especially if I can get wide width. So I did buy a 8 1/2 W and like I expected HEAVEN! I am heading to Vegas with some family next weekend and plan on taking my new boots ;-)...Darnit...they are $89.99 now! Oh Well. I still love these and didn't want to chance them going back up, but even with the wide width my toes went numb on my right foot which tends to happen to be if I don't have wide width shoes on. I did manage to get 4 hours in before they went numb so I will keep them and just use them when I only plan to go out for a few hours. ... show more

    • small uncomfortable boot w/diff return instructions
I wear a 7.5. I ordered these in 7W, but they are definitely too small which I am NOT saying that is the company's fault. Just now in my opinion up size if your a mid size, but I do think the rest of the boot is not practical to work in and seems rather uncomfortable altogether so I am NOT reordering a larger size. Also I am struggling w/the return instructions. "PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR RETURNS FORM, INVOICE/AMAZON ORDER ID AND DETAIL OF ITEM BEING RETURNED AND WHY. Also, please remember to fill in the Commercial Invoice with the return Waybill number given, Date and Value." There is no returns form and my amazon invoice I found under my ordered item on line that I am printing does not have any mention of why I am returning it and I don't see a commercial invoice to put waybill info onto which may be my returns form as well IDK. I hope I don't lose my $170 just because of the precise return instructions that can't be followed. Your calf also needs to be thin and small for these boots. I am 150 lbs and 5'5" and not considered a lug but they barely lace up my thighs. ... show more

    • Fat calves meet their match
These Timberlands are stylish and practical. The foot print is smaller than their typical high top boot, but still good for everyday use. The boots are comfortable. I have thick calves and without a side zipper was afraid they wouldn’t fit. They do but there is a small gap on sides of tongue at top of boot and laces cannot reach beyond four from top. Nice laces just not long enough when you have thick legs. For reference my calves measure 16.75” at the widest point. ... show more

holy fast shipping! and these are THE nicest boots i’ve ever owned, they’re not only stylish but also feel rugged. these definitely aren’t for wide feet or large calves but if you’re pretty average then these are a must have boot. they do require some braking in but i feel like the same would go for any rugged boot.. anyways i’m definitely looking forward to getting a few years of use out of these😉 ... show more

These boots haunted me for a year and a half before I finally broke down and spent the money. I usually wear an 8 to 8 1/2 womens. I have fat wide feet so I ordered 8.5 wide (C/D). I am also a runner and horsewoman and I have big calves. Still, I trusted the true lace feature to save me and took the purchase leap. These boots are great, very well made, color is as shown. The fit lenthwse is true to size. I am glad I ordered wide because, even so, they are a bit narrow but will break in well I think. They barely fit my 17 3/4 " calves. If I lace them tight thy close to just enough, with no overlap at the tongue. But it's enough for me to keep them as I am totally in love w how they look and feel! ... show more

Ordered these boots as my new Winter Boots for this season. Upon receiving them, I eagerly tried them on. I was very disappointed to find that with hose on they were very tight around my toes preventing me from wearing socks of any kind with them. I have already processed the return and printed the labels. I tried to exchange them for a wide size that shows available on the product page but the exchange option would not allow me to choose a wide size. Once the return is processed I will be ordering a wider size and hopefully they will fit perfectly. I definitely like the boots and hope that I can find a size to fit soon. ... show more
