  • SOLE CAME APART LESS THAN 1 MONTH
Size: 9 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Have the same boots from years ago and they held up to this day. Purchased new pair from here on October 24th and right boot is falling apart already. Horrible quality and its clear these were outsourced to be manufactured else where. Extremely disappointed to spend hard earned money on this junk! Want refund! ... show more

  • Used to be a good boot, not anymore
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Got these boots a little over a month ago. Tried one on for fit, but never wore them. Checked them out tonight to wear tommorrow and noticed two top lace hooks on one boot are missing. I buy a lot of stuff on amazon and if I called they would extend the window I'm sure. Point is though I've bought at least 8 or 9 pairs of these boots over the last ten years and I have observed a steady decline in their quality. The only reason I'm not returning them is on each of the last few pairs of these boots the top lace hooks fails due to the low quality of the hooks. After a relatively short time they will start to bend out to a straight position due to pressure from tightened laces. You can bend them back but typically after they do this a couple of times the bend will fracture and break. Super cheap downgrade. Really, how much can the company be saving. Also I have found on all of the last few pairs the rivets will fail on at least one of the eyelets or lace hooks. Anyways I've ordered some quality lace hooks and rivets to install on a previous couple of boots with the same problem and I'll fix this new pair at the same time knowing I would have had an issue eventually anyway. If your thinking of buying these boots, or for that matter any from similar lines by Timberland, you are going to deal with this issue. I've bought so many pairs of these because they're a comfortable fit right out of the box, which is hard for me to find because of issues with my feet, and they're very reasonably priced. Can't tolerate this any more and this will be my last pair of Timberland boots. I never see any feedback from the company in the reviews so I doubt they care, ... show more

  • Fake boots
Size: 7.5 Color: Dark Brown
From what I found out these boots are fake They don’t register with timberland The emblems are incorrect and does not have the key features to original timberland boots I’ve been wearing timberlands for 25 years and even I didn’t realize at first but yet I did have suspicion

  • The Fit Is Close To Sneaker Size
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
Work boots vary greatly in size, that's why I mentioned it. I was looking for a pair of work boots that were comfortable, waterproof and lightweight. I found them. I work in construction, so I'm on my feet most of the day. I've only worn these boots for 1 shift (10 hours, out in the elements), but I love them already. - They were definitely waterproof. - They didn't need a break-in period at all - comfortable right out of the box. - They provide great arch and ankle support. The only question left is how long will they last. I'll check back in if they don't hold up. **update** Still going strong 1.5 years later. **update 2/16/18** I can't get rid of these boots, even though they stink to high heaven (a wash in the machine helps briefly, but that's the case for all old shoes). On the bright side, they're still water-proof and still comfortable. I bought another pair when I saw a great deal on amazon, but I refuse to wear them until something gives out on the originals. Strong odor be damned. They're work boots for me, after all. ... show more

  • Don't buy the Flume
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
This is the third pair of Timberland boots I have purchased. The first two were the white Ledge model and which look very similar both extremely comfortable and lasted 2 1/2 years each. This is why I went with Timberland again. From all the reviews I read, it seemed the Flume was the same quality build but had more leather which I liked. But, the Flume is not anywhere near as comfortable. I am always glad when I take them off. They also have a problem with the two of the lace up vamps. They keep closing up so I cannot get the shoelace in them. I have had to pry them open monthly since I got the boots. I waited before writing this review to see if they would be more comfortable once I broke them in but after 6 months they are ok but nothing like the White Ledges I had before. The comfort of the Flume is so different than the White Ledge that if it wasn't that I purchased it on Amazon I would think it was a knock-off and not a real Timberland boot. If I could afford it I would throw these away and buy the White Ledge again. ... show more

  • Worn almost every day for two years, still waterproof, walked the sole bare, buying a second pair!
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
I bought these almost two years ago (7.5 weeks short of 2 years) and I wear them almost every single day. They're my primary shoes and I wear then when out and about as well as hiking and camping. I'm a Cubmaster for a Cub Scout Pack and we go hiking every month, plus a ton of camping and other outside activities. They've held up super well and have stayed waterproof the whole time. I'm looking at getting a new pair now only because I've completely worn through the sole in a few spots. The only other area that seems to be wearing is the lace hooks. Over time they tend to bend outward so sometimes the laces slip off. I've been able to press them back in a bit tighter, but I'm afraid that eventually the back and forth will make one break. As it turned out it didn't matter since I'll be replacing these with a new pair now. ## 2020 UPDATE ## The second pair lasted just as long as the first. I still wore them almost every day, on hikes, walks, yard work, and more. They're still waterproof and the only reason I need a new pair is that I wore through the soles again, just shy of 2 years again! This pair didn't have the issue with the lace hooks. I'm ordering my third pair tonight! ... show more
