These are a great pair of hiking boots for a reasonable price. The boots are lightweight and look good. I wear them with khakis to informal gathering, as well as for hiking. The boots support my foot well, with no slippage.

Read this if you are wanting to buy for heavy use! These boots are very comfortable, waterproof, and lightweight. I bought them to work in 8 hours a day and they did not hold up well. The rubber on the sole that wraps around the toe started peeling back after 30 days of light use (see picture). I took pictures and submitted to timberland warranty and they quickly replaced the boots no problem, but then the same thing happened again to the new pair. I still wear them a year later (water comes in through the toe) and have some serious wear on the soles and will need replaced soon. For the occasional hike they are probably a fantastic buy, but I wouldn’t buy again for work or even as an avid hiker I would be concerned about their longevity. I would recommend these to someone who might lightly use them but do not expect to get a lot of wear out of them or to try and use as a work boot before the issue with the sole pops up. ... show more

Best hiking boots I have ever owned. These are very comfortable right out of the box and are not heavy IMO. They are a little prone to scuffing scratching is the only downside. Still looking for another pair.

These things are junk! I wanted to get him a good comfortable pair of shoes so I went with Timberlands. Thay have always been good in the past! Long lasting, comfortable, waterproof, etc. HOWEVER! These started falling apart a little over a month after ordering!!! They were not waterproof! And have completely fallen apart to almost not being able to wear anymore and he's only had them 3 months!!! They only get worn once maybe twice a week so its not like they are his everyday shoes. So so disappointed in the poor quality this brand has become... ... show more

Received the shoes a lot faster than expected which was great because I was afraid they would be delayed due to the holiday season. They were in perfect condition when they arrived. To be honest they looked even better in person than they do in their picture and the quality of work is fantastic. I can't speak on their longevity yet because we did just receive them but if they are anything like my other Timberland shoes then I expect them to last for a good time to come. ... show more
