I usually go with mid tear boot brands such as "Free Soldier" which have always served me well till last purchase - out of box they made feet hurt & the darn squeak sound made in heal....sounded like they were filled with water so freaking OCD annoying so it was time for upgrade to Timberland. Timberland boot construction is top notch built to last with real leather , excellent fit , no foot hurt & no darn squeak sound. Their very good looking as well , use them for casual wear & out on trails. Their best boots I've ever owned & my new go too.

Thankfully I came across these VERY comfortable boots afew weeks ago, And they were on sale so it was a no brainer. I am so glad that I purchased these.Some have mentioned glue showing between the leather and sole. I have a small amount showing between the front toe guard and boot but for the price I'm good with it. I Ordered my normal size 10 and They Fit like a glove with just the right amount of room for the toe area. Besides nice looking they are of very nice quality and are so comfortable and lite as well.All day comfortably and my feet stay cool and dry compared to my other boots. I know it's early yet so I will update if anything crazy happens. Again I'm so happy I found this gems and that I saved money also. Take care.

I work in an ice rink so my feet can get cold and wet all the time however, these boots are great at keeping my feet warm and dry. They are also very comfortable and fit great as I have a wide foot. Would 100% recommend these boots to anyone. One month update: Not too happy about laces as they are already fraying and one of the tips just failed after one month of wearing 3-4 times a week. ## Downgrade from Five stars to Four stars ##

Not Recommended for hard work in the construction field. But an awesome walk around, cut the grass light duty boot. Good price boot. Waterproof up to the start of the Tongue only. Not a winter boot, good grip.

Got these Timberland's for my 23 year old son who went to Iceland with friends. They just got back today, and these boots were perfect. He said they did grueling hikes, up rocks and rough terrain, crossed streams, saw the tallest waterfall in Iceland. Went through all kinds of weather including sunny days in 60's and rainy days in mountainous terrain and much colder. He said they were great right out of the box, like putting on sneakers. Stayed comfortable the whole time, and 100% waterproof. He had a good pair of hiking socks which fit nicely into an accurate fit for his shoe size. His two friends did not do as well, paid way more for other hiking boots and both ended up with blisters! And btw, these boots still look great and nearly brand new! Got the Grey Nubuck, nice color. I was expecting shoes to be totaled, but they still are very good, no water stains at all! Very happy with this purchase!

This hiking boots a really comfortable to my surprise, wore them last night for the first time for about 4 hours walking around town and was really surprised with how comfortable they are, true to size,10 1/2 still had plenty of room to wiggle my toes. I highly recommend this hiking boots.
