Only lasted 5 months before it developed holes. I am a heavy walker, so this is perhaps above average wear and tear, but my previous Timberlands lasted several years before the tread was gone (and still no holes in that situation). There is also a design flaw on the heals: there is a small sewn flap bringing two pieces together, which can rub against your heel. It is quite uncomfortable, wears socks down, and can cause bleeding. Both shoehorn straps also broke. I guess I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because of how much I love the brand, but maybe the boots are getting worse. ... show more
