  • BEST BOOTS EVER
Size: 11.5 Color: Medium Brown Nubuck
Looks good. Feels great. Quality leather.

  • Timberland Earthkeepers 6"
First of all, I just received these boots so I cannot speak as to how they are going to hold up. With that being said, I love the look and feel of these Timberland boots. I live in one of the northern continental US states and with winter coming, I wanted a good looking boot I could wear for either going out to the bar or going to class. The boots looks sweet. I got them in Dark Brown and they go really nice with any shade of casual chino pants as well as most jeans. These are made out of leather so they do get the normal marks you would expect from everyday use. So if you were do scratch the leather it would leave a mark, which would easily rub out if you wanted it to. I love it though as it gives the boot a rugged, aged look to it. Quite nice. They feel very nice as well. This is my first pair of boots so I did not really know what to expect but they are very, very comfortable. There is a little extra support in the heel, so I am not worried if I have to be on my feet in these for many hours. Like the other reviewers claim, the sizing is a bit tricky. I wasn't too sure which size to get as some of the other postings conflict with each other. I mainly wear a size 12 in my Nike Shox and other brands of athletic shoes. I bought these in size 11 M and they are perfect, and I do mean perfect and bigger or smaller and it would be uncomfortable. So I think it would be one size down from your Nike shoe. Also if it helps from end to end my foot is about 11 inches. At the time I bought these boots they were $60 more expensive at the local department store, so buying them on Amazon was, again, a no-brainer for me. And if you are smug like me, they are Eco-Friendly. I will update this review as I find out more about how the upcoming winter weather will affect traction and if the boot does not wear well. ... show more

  • Comfortable boots even after 15+ miles of combined walks.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Medium Brown Nubuck
Had these boots for a little over 2 weeks, here's what I think about them: - Shoe size matched the same size I wear for government issued boots: 10W. I did not have to order a size down like other reviews have noted. - I have flat feet and the boots are able to accommodate arch support soles with no spacing issues. Toe box is a little on narrow side but not much of a concern for me. - The leather on these is much softer than the typical work boots I wear, pretty sure they would tear easily if used in abrasive type work environments. - Without speed lacing eyelets on the ankle part of the boot you can expect to take longer to put on and take off boots. - Ankle support is pretty solid on these, pretty standard protection you can expect from any similar ankle high boots. I'm considering getting a local cobbler to add some to mine. - I wear these as a everyday type shoes and average about 10,000 steps a day. I really like how comfortable they feel even at the end of the day. There no break in period needed with these and my feet felt good even after day 1 of wearing them. - If they last more than a year then I'll definitely order another pair. ... show more

  • Best boot I've ever worn.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Medium Brown Nubuck
The media could not be loaded. These boots are about the only thing I wear 6 months of the year. They are incredibly comfortable. The lining is soft, and seems to wick sweat away better than regular boots. I wear them to work (just office work) and about everywhere else. I would consider them casual wear, as opposed to work or hiking wear. The upper is well put together, with stitching that holds up well, and even the laces are intact after 3 years. The only downside is that the soles do wear out faster than the uppers. I suppose this is a side effect of the recycled material, so I'll take it as a trade off. I am going to try and resole them this year, but if that doesn't work out, I will definitely buy another pair. These are too good to be without. UPDATE - 12-25-2014: Just had them re-soled after 4 years. I've read elsewhere that it isn't possible because the soles were rubbery, but I just brought them in to the local shoe repair place "John's Shoe Repair" if you happen to be in San Diego. Great job. The color of the new sole is darker. We looked at everything he had in stock, and only a few had heals that matched, so I picked the closest option. The upper still look great, and I'm looking forward to another 4 years. I can't load another video here, but I'll post one for you on the tube ;-) UPDATE - 11-20-2019: Survived to second resole. Was able to get a Vibram sole this time. Upper still looks great. Started taking care of the leather better with conditioner after my last resole. ... show more

  • Sizing info for these boots. CLARIFIED.
Size: 11 Color: Medium Brown Nubuck
OK. There are multiple, varying reviews on these boots. Some people say that they are a little big, some say they're ridiculously big... IF YOU OWN ANY OTHER TIMBERLAND SHOES OR BOOTS, JUST ORDER ONE FULL SIZE SMALLER THAN THOSE. The confusion is that Timberlands (in every other case) run big and require you to wear a half size smaller than normal. Therefore, if you don't own any Timberlands, order these ONE AND A HALF sizes smaller than your normal shoe size. Period. I usually wear a 12. In Timberlands I wear an 11.5 and in these I needed a 10.5 (yes, this is all ridiculous and I actually can't believe I'm writing all of this right now). Summary: Timberlands in general - minus a half your normal size. THESE Timberlands - minus one and a half your normal size. These boots are awesome, light, not clunky, soft feeling footbed, nice arch support, look great and I really like them. 4 stars instead of five for the ridiculously stupid sizing and forcing me to get involved. But it was aggravating to have to return the 11's which I bought based on some other completely unthorough reviews. ... show more
