The Timberland Leather Crossbody Purse in Cognac is the perfect size for me! Just enough to fit the essentials, and definitely not so big that you end up with multiples of things to weigh you down. The leather on the cognac purse is good quality, very soft and smooth, and has a beautiful warm tone to it. The interior is a bright and clean white with pink pinstripes. The metal zippers are sturdy and the magnet on the plain outer pocket is plenty strong. There are 4 pockets on this bag- an open one on front with the embossed tree image, one on the back/plain side with magnet closure, and a small zippered pocket within the main zippered pocket. The shoulder strap is thick and adjustable like a belt. The stitching all around is sturdy and clean. At this price ($117.87 at the time of this review) this may seem more pricey than a fashion weight purse, but the quality of materials and craftsmanship is comparable to more of a boutique leather workshop. If you are looking for a stylish, small to medium sized purse, this is an excellent choice! I am very content with it and I'm sure it will last a very long time. ... show more

More than anything, I believe a "crossbody" bag of this type, is high on style! Crossbody bags are, while we're on the subject, very chic, highly fashionable, because mostly they are "compact" in size, they are not bulky or bulging, like a bigger bag. This particular design is long and lean, will hold all your "essentials" nicely, like: your wallet, keys, small make-up bag, cell phone, a small perfume or body spray, a comb or small brush, and that's about it, on the inside. The interior features a very smooth and silky material in beige with orange stripes, 1 quite deep inner pocket with sturdy orange zipper, that will actually hold a lot more than most, come to think of it, and that's a plus! It's a little taller or deeper vertically, than horizontally, so in reality could probably hold more if organized strategically. The leather is very smooth, the long shoulder handle is strong almost an inch in width, with 9 holes to adjust the strap to your liking, with a very sturdy silver buckle, silver zipper to close the bag, and silver shoulder strap hardware to insure strength and prevent the strap from tearing or breaking off.
