Spray painter works well. It is not for a large project as the bottle only holds less than a quart of paint. Spray end can be turned both vertical and horizontal to help with painting. Cleanup is easy enough, just run the water through the sprayer until clean. Do make sure to test spray pattern first so you don't mess up your project.

I have been staining wood for decades.. generally by brush and rollers. Shower I bought a hvlp sprayer a few years ago and liked it but it was a clogging nightmare and cleaning it up was a pain. Upon deciding to try another sprayer I was thoroughly impressed with this one. The speed of the spray was very fast. So fast I quickly realized I had to speed myself to keep up. The coverage was also very impressive way better than the one I bought several years ago. The weight is light and it only holds its 600ml quart is smaller than I would like but I think it was designed to keep the sprayer light. 600ml is a tad more than 1/2 quart. The oil based stain I used was pretty thin and the gun had no problem applying it fast and evenly. I kept expecting a clog.. but none happened. I think the thin stain in combination most likely helped out. From past experience cleanup is key for these sprayers to last. Mild paint thinner works great to run through before storage. I stained a pressure treated trailer to slgey accustomed to this sprayer. This is two coats approximately 3 quarts total. I think it looks great and professional. Very happy with this sprayer and the results. If you have never used a sprayer like this get you a test piece to practice on and perfect your technique. I prefer to stain in high heat as it penetrates and dries quickly. Very little stain is wasted. I keep the sprayer around 6" inches away while working in a consistent with the grain pattern. Use a brush to work the stain in cracks..I used a cheap 2" brilush to make sure the decking was fully covered.

My lady and I flip furniture. It's a hobby and side hustle for me, a passion and main hustle for her. I learned long ago that having the right tool can be the difference between "job complete" and "job will now take three weeks and you'll have to order special parts because I broke something using the wrong tool." I'm always looking for new tools for us and it's nice to have multiple paint sprayers so when I saw this one I had to try it. It arrived well packaged and in near-mint condition. All of the promised components were present. This is a nice sprayer! We have another that we're using for finish, so this one can be just for paint. It was easy to set up and start. The paint sprays evenly (as long as it isn't low on paint) and creates a nice, clean paint job. It's about as easy to clean as the one we already had, so nothing crazy is needed to maintain. So far we've painted two pieces of furniture and the results were both great. Overall I'm very happy with this sprayer. Now that we have two we can dedicate each one to something specific. This one paints very well, cleans fairly easily, and doesn't break the bank.

In the past have used an air compressor sprayer to apply paint and sealant for small to medium sized projects. However, the setup time is pretty significant and the required is big and heavy and you're tethered to the tank by a high pressure hose. That's fine if what you're doing justifies the time and effort, but for smaller projects a little self contained hand held sprayer is far more practical. This sprayer, which small and light, does a great job of applying paint or sealant for small projects. The container is easy to open and fill and while the sprayer needs to remain primarily vertical, the nozzle on the tip can be rotated to allow for either vertical or horizontal spraying. Just fill the container, plug it in, and you're ready to paint like a pro! Seriously, I recently saw an episode of a popular public television home improvement show using exactly this kind of sprayer to paint shelving units. The convenience and quality is well worth the price and the time savings over rolling or brushing, as well as the quality of application, is significant.

This HVLP has a nice size 20oz container for your material that you will be spraying. Yes you will need to dilute your latex products like most DIYer grade HVLP units. This honestly is not an issue for me as this was expected. You can spray water base clear coats and stains with no thinning in most cases. I use my HVLP for staining my fence in my back yard. I did also use the HVLP to repaint a few outdoor pieces of furniture with latex paint. I did repaint a bedroom as well with latex paint. The only problem with the painting the bedroom was having to refill the 20oz container several times but that is all on me not a down point of the HVLP. If you have some small sized tasked that would need a nice HVLP I would recommend this one in a second.

I like to paint but never invested in a sprayer. I like this machine a lot- the instructions say if you use Tiswall brand paint you can just spray it on directly. I don’t use this brand typically so I had to dilute it prior to application, which is wasn’t difficult. The instructions are clear and it was easy to use. I’m still getting the hang of it so I won’t post any finished projects but they are getting better each time. My one complaint (which would actually make this more of a 4.5 experience, although I went with 5 since that isn’t an option) is the length of the cord. It’s pretty short in my opinion and should have been several feet longer to make this a truly excellent sprayer. But otherwise I really like it and have adjusted to the short cord.

This is my first sprayer, so I did not want to start and learn on an expensive one. What I like about this one: - Comes complete as a kit, ready to use - Does not use batteries so no need to think about charging, swapping batteries in the middle of a job etc. - Sufficient paint capacity for small to medium projects without refilling - Unit is lightweight and fits well in the hands I did some tests painting pieces of wood and it sprays well. There is some overspray and you definitely want to do this in a well ventilated area, wearing proper PPE (mask and eye protection) but I think this is expected for any paint job. The power cord is long enough for simple stationnary use but plan for an extension cord if you want to paint a shed or a room. I recommend watching a few videos about how to use a paint sprayer and how to clean it after use, this will boost your confidence significantly! Overall it works very well and makes painting much more enjoyable and predictable than with a brush, for sure. Also I like the red color, makes it very visible while on a jobsite (although it seems like they are now selling a grey one instead)
