This sprayer is compatible with water-based paints, solvent-based paints, primers, varnishes, automotive finishes, sealants, and wood preservatives, but NOT suitable for alkaline or acidic paints. Do I need to thin paint when using an HVLP spray gun? Thinning essential: Use water for water-based paints; specified thinner for oil/solvent-based. Gradually mix thinner into paint with thorough stirring. Test viscosity (≤120 DIN-S) using viscosity cup. Strain paint before spraying for smooth operation What techniques ensure a perfect spray finish? Prep: Clean surface & test spray on cardboard. Maintain 10-30cm distance.
