I got this because I wanted a cordless option for painting furniture, outdoor pieces, and other projects where dragging an extension cord would be inconvenient. At this point, I have a few different products from this brand and have come to really trust them. I have a few different paint sprayers that I've accumulated recently and over the last couple of years. The main thing is just to figure out which is your favorite style. From a reputable seller, they all work great. For example, I had to figure out whether I like a handheld sprayer like this, or a floor model, or something in between. You can get one that straps to your back, etc.. This style is the least unwieldy, but the heaviest in hand. Tradeoffs. I like this large 1300 ml container, side-fill design, and compatibility with DeWalt 20V batteries that I already have several of on hand. A cordless sprayer is especially useful for touching up outdoor storage boxes, shelving, fences, or pieces being worked on away from my main power source. The battery is not included, and paint still needs to be properly thinned and strained for the nozzle, so the convenience does not eliminate the usual preparation required for a smooth spray pattern. Also, if there's any fine work, be sure to tape. I recommend.

We are painting the entire exterior of the home and sheds this year. Needed something which would go high and low with minimal restrictions. This sprayer meets all those requirements. First off, it can use two different sizes of battery. I found using the 18w battery didn't give the pressure that the 20 did. But it did not do to bad of a job on the shed for the initial sealing. It took me a little bit to get used to spray pattern and flow. Now that I know, the second coat will be much easier for me and the shed. It comes with everything you need to set up and get using, except the battery. Comes with a nice cleaning brush that gets the nozel nicely. One thing I really liked about this is that it wasn't horribly unbalanced with the battery attached. I have small hands and often battery operated tools cause me issues with use. Not this however, it balanced nicely and I had little wrist fatigue. My favorite feature is the side fill. No unscrewing the top on refills. Makes the job move along faster. For small around the home jobs, this sprayer is a nice addition to any tool collection.

We had some outdoor fencing and trim that required some much needed repainting. I ordered this “Tilswall Cordless Paint Sprayer Brushless” in hopes of cutting down the time. Well, using this power sprayer saved several hours of manual brushing. Attaching the compatible Dewalt battery to the base balanced out the weight nicely and it felt good in the hands. The side filling feature allowed for quick top-ups without having to remove the entire bottom half; saving me from messy spills and other cleanup disasters. This sprayer emits a fine mist of paint and you can adjust the spray pattern with a dial that alters the output effectively. Like a lot of sprayers, cleaning the nozzles is tedious and requires a lot of scrubbing with wire and other brushes to prevent future blockages. You can’t leave paint in the nozzle for any amount of time without cleaning in between. I had to change the batteries often, as it drained batteries every 20 minutes or so. The plastic trigger feels a little loose and cheap. There is substantial overspray, so cover with plastic sheets or drop cloths to prevent splatters and overspray into external items. The instructions aren’t much help, but I figured things out. The main thing here is that I read the description too quickly and I thought it came with the Dewalt battery. It is simply “compatible” with that. Luckily, I have a couple of those batteries so this sprayer worked out well for me. It’s a time saver and being cordless is clutch. This is a good value as it’s priced well for a cordless sprayer.

I picked up this Cordless Paint Sprayer for a small home project, and it ended up making the whole job much easier—and honestly, a bit more enjoyable. The first thing I really appreciate is the cordless design. Not having to drag an extension cord around makes a big difference, especially when you’re moving between tight spaces or working outdoors. It feels light in hand without the battery, and once you snap in a DeWalt 20V pack, it gains a bit of weight but still stays well-balanced and comfortable for longer sessions. The brushless motor runs smoothly and is a bit quieter than the brushed sprayers I’ve tried before. It feels consistent, without that rough or uneven sound you sometimes get. Controls are simple and intuitive, which is nice if you just want to get started without overthinking things. The standout feature for me is the easy side-fill design. Instead of unscrewing the whole paint cup every time, you can just pour paint in from the side. It sounds like a small detail, but in practice it saves a lot of time and keeps things much cleaner. When I ran low mid-project, I just topped it up and kept going—no interruption. It also offers three spray patterns—horizontal, vertical, and circular—and switching between them is quick with the adjustment knob. I used the horizontal pattern to repaint my balcony, and after thinning the paint properly, the coverage came out smooth and even. No obvious brush mark. The trigger response is good too, so it’s easy to control how much paint you’re laying down without overdoing it. Battery performance was solid. Using a 5Ah DeWalt battery, I was able to finish a small project on a single charge without any issues. The sprayer kept a steady output the whole time. Comfort-wise, it’s easy to handle. I used it for about an hour straight, and it didn’t feel tiring. The motor didn’t overheat, and everything kept running reliably. Cleanup is also manageable—just rinse the nozzle and paint cup with water or cleaner, and the included tools help get into the smaller parts. One tip: definitely wear goggles, a mask, and maybe even ear protection, especially for longer sessions. It’s still a spray tool at the end of the day.

I have been painting my whole life and have never paid a professional painter for any part of my house, including the exterior. I actually own a corded paint sprayer, and it is great quality. However, the fact that it is corded comes with some drawbacks. First, I find myself rarely using it indoors because of the extensive time required to mask so many surfaces against overspray. And manual painting provides better texture control, which is needed for indoor spaces. So I mainly use the sprayer outdoors on fences, exterior walls and outdoor furniture. My property is fairly large, so dragging long extension cords around is a pain. So when I saw this Tilswall cordless paint sprayer that works with Dewalt 20V batteries, which I already own plenty of, I became very interested. Lately, before I order products online, I first look up the brand to check out their ratings. When I checked out the Tilswall store, I saw that they specialize in paint sprayers and power tools. And all of their products seemed like great quality and had strong reviews and ratings, so I decided to go ahead and order this cordless paint sprayer. Right away, the first thing I noticed once I started using it outside was how much easier it was to move around compared to dragging cords everywhere. That alone made things so much easier for me. The sprayer feels very durable and not cheap at all. One thing I was worried about was if it would have the same power as my corded sprayer. Well after testing it out, it definitely has a powerful motor and the spray comes out evenly. There is a slight delay when you first pull the trigger, which I didn’t really mind because it prevents any accidental sprays. And refilling it was SO MUCH easier than my other sprayer. I am so happy I found this cordless sprayer. The quality is great, it has plenty of power and it is easy to refill as well as easy to clean when you are done. There may be cheaper cordless sprayers available, but it’s worth getting a quality sprayer that will spray evenly and consistently. I highly recommend it.

Spring cleaning has officially escalated into a full-blown “why do we own this much stuff?!” situation. 😅 We’ve got a drybox being delivered soon so we can move stacks o’ boxes out of the house and finally do a proper purge… and of course, my husband immediately starts planning upgrades. He mentioned wanting to paint the drybox to match the house (because apparently we’re classy like that now), so I grabbed this paint sprayer for him—and honestly, I think I just unlocked a new favorite tool for him. First off, the cordless setup is a HUGE win. No dragging extension cords all over the yard, no awkward positioning—just grab it and go. Since it works with DeWalt 20V batteries (which we already have), that made it super convenient right out of the box. The sprayer itself feels really solid and well-made. The brushless motor is no joke—it runs smoothly, not overly loud, and doesn’t feel like it’s shaking your arm off while you’re using it. I used this paint sprayer on V groove paneling that I installed. I wanted the smoothest finish possible and gave this sprayer shot. It was very easy yo use and clean. My genuine Dewalt and generic Dewalt batteries fit perfectly. The spray patterns were easy to adjust with the dial and it comes with 3 different size spray tips. I covered everything when I sprayed, floors, windows and door openings because of the overspray. Thinning the paint to the correct consistency was probably the most difficult part of using this sprayer. But the more wise the gun the easier it will get. Spray guns that don’t require thinning are very expensive and I couldn’t justify purchasing one to spray one room. Overall I am very impressed with this and the other 3 Tilswall sprayers that I own. They are great quality sprayers at an amazing price.
