I've always been into kayaking and lugging around that big, heavy, plastic tub that barely fits in the bed of my truck. Over the years, I've had less and less desire to spend all that time loading up my truck and having to wait in line at the boat ramp, to launch my kayak, until I found this inflatable paddle board. This inflatable paddle board makes kayaking a dream! It literally fits on my front seat in its entirety, and weights a total of 24lbs fully packed away with all its gear. It took me 7 minutes to go from a deflated heap of rubber, to a full size paddle board with 12lbs of air pressure added to it. The recommend psi is 12-15lbs, and I used the pumps pressure gauge as my guide to accomplish this. Once inflated, the paddle board feels like a solid piece of closed cell foam board. It is SOLID! It also weights 17.12 lbs and is SO light weight to carry by the center handle. The paddle comes in three pieces and has one adjustable sliding bar, that has a quick lock lever to keep it in place. Each shark fin slides into place effortlessly, and has a locking pin to prevent loss. There is a 2 piece patch kit in a tube, but DOES NOT include the patch glue. This is something every brand needs to include so the correct glue is used for the material. There are some small accessories, like a water proof camera pouch, storage bag, and a wrist strap to keep the board tethered to you. Overall, I'm super impressed with my first inflatable paddle board. If I have good luck through the year, I plan on upgrading to an inflatable kayak for rougher waters. I take my poodle with me and he has no problem staying balanced on this board, since its almost 3' wide. Because the paddle board lacks a seat, you may want to find a good inflatable seat if you want all day comfort on the water, as standing or kneeling can get tiring. ... show more
