This was not quite as easy thing set up as I thought. I figured it would be like setting up a tent. It was close but it needed a little more brute strength. If you are young and strong this will probably be no problem. But not for an older person with health issues like me. In the end I got it up but it was exhausting and not something I would do again. Being in Chicago and social distancing in 2020 we intended on using the 2 sunbubbles that we purchased as outdoor family bubbles for Christmas. According to the manual they should be able to sustain winds far greater than the 12 mph “gusts” we have today 12/25/2020. Unfortunately the cheap materials used failed both at setup (2 horizontal clips snapping. I hot glued and taped as family was supposed to be coming over for social distance Christmas ) and after erected when wind caused the bubble to collapse on 1 side (2 of the slide brackets failed...see pictures). I was going to try “MacGyvering” it to make it through but was concerned that it would fail with people in it. Unfortunately the inferior quality materials used to construct the sunbubble do not justify the $300+ price tag and I am hopeful that I can get a resolution with customer service. Based on other comments it doesn’t appear that this will be an easy task. Make the 8 tent pole slide adapter out of steel and the failures, like the photos, would not happen. Full disclosure... When we did the “trial run” last week, it went together easily (<10 minutes), held up fine and we were impressed with the warmth being +30 degrees with a small electric, infrared heater we had in the unit (maintained 72 degrees when 42 outside). There were such high hopes for this product to be the missing link to get together with family but it was an abysmal failure. We aren’t even unpacking the 2nd one. ... show more

I would have liked this but it came in an open package with one broken strut piece. The strut is like a rod that is placed horizontally to keep the sunbubble in place. It’s one of the last parts placed on it. So I assembled by myself and it’s not hard but it is a little confusing and awkward for one person the first time. And it is large. I got almost all of it up and this one small piece had a broken end. So I called amazon and they offered a gift card discount and a phone number. It was the weekend so I emailed the company it was from, Tierra Garden, and the VP of sales wrote back amazon could replace the whole thing. I wanted just one part! Not to disassemble and ship a huge awkward thing again. And when a small part breaks is it really impossible to get it replaced?? Seems fishy and like bad customer service especially from the VP of sales. I did also look online- everywhere- so buy this if you don’t mind a good idea with flimsy parts that are irreplaceable. UPDATE: the broken part was replaced by the company and works well thank you ... show more

It's awesome. It's up to 15 degrees warmer inside it where my hot tub is when the hot tub cover is ON. I noticed my hot tub is not on trying to warm up nearly as much. I have a smart thermometer in there and it got up to 62 degrees inside it when the hot tub cover was off and we were inside- meanwhile it was 29 degrees outside! So pleasant stepping out of the hot tub and to not freeze and take your time don't off.I have it tied down to my deck and fence for extra security and it hasn't budged- but i used my own rope. Zipper just needs to be pushed in while zippered to ensure it doesn't get stuck. Push it away from you and it works just fine👍🏻 ... show more

I absolutely love this tent the assembly wasn’t hard. The only issue was two of the prong pieces broke while trying to insert the rods but thankfully the added 4 extra pieces in the package. This was perfect for my picnic date night plenty of space and very comfy

It’s cute and doesn’t detract from the landscape. I just put it up today so we will see how it works (I will update my review after a few months of use). The directions weren’t the clearest, so there was a very small amount of trial and errors, which with inexpensive pieces... It took two people to put together. It would be difficult for only one person. It took us about 30 min. Several of the plastic attachments broke that are needed to support the walls, so we had to use a liberal amount of duct tape to attach the supports. I question if I will be able to use this again after this year, which is kind of disappointing... If it does the job, then I will upgrade my rating to a 3 or 4. Update: So my plants are still alive and it is still holding strong in the wind and snow. I am really hoping to find a way to use it next year. Update #2: The wind got strong enough to make it blow into the neighbors yard, so we put it back and replaced the stakes with heavy duty tent stakes and a week later it blew away again. It was pretty good before the wind got to it... ... show more

So far its doing well. it was a little hard to put up with one person, and I did break one of the brackets right off the bat. but to be fair I put it in upside down. it is a little difficult to control the temp inside as the vents are small. But its good and should extend my growing season.

Not sturdy AT ALL. This was the second one I ordered after the first one had broken rods. This one had one broken rod and several others broke a month in. At two months in, the poles had broken through the bottom strap. The poles connecting in the middle all started to bend/break apart. This was such a complete waste of money. I had this pretty well blocked from the wind and it was secured down well. There’s no reason that a small amount of wind should have torn it apart as bad as it did. It’s completely deformed I’ll be throwing it out. I cannot believe I wasted so much money on this. The unfortunate thing is that I waited too long to get online and complain/send it back.
