These boots are excellent! I live in New England and it's winter here right now. They are plenty warm and my feet stay dry which is most important to me. I've used these boots in snow,slush,submerged in water roughly a foot deep. I am pleased with the traction they get in snow and slush so far. They are fairly comfortable, and true to size in my experience with size 11 atleast. I can wear thick socks and not feel crowded when wearing them. They are a little on the heavier side from my experience, wearing competitor's boots from places like bass pro and other outdoor outfitters etc, but then you're spending hundreds more. Arch support seems fine to me but I don't have collapsed arches or any kind of foot problems so YMMV Super impressed for the price and I will be ordering another pair I can leave at camp. The boots are stylish enough that they don't scare the wildlife away on looks alone. I'm not sure I'd wear these to a wedding but maybe a first date where I'm from, lol. If you've read this far, I will say my ONLY gripe is they do have a smell. It's not a bad smell or anything like that but there is a rubber type smell. I left these boots outside on my porch for a couple days to let the mountain air do its thing, can hardly notice it at all now. Phew, we made it to the end. Just got these boots and tried them on. I wear a usually a 11 and got them in that size. They fit very well! I haven't used them yet. I got them for a upcoming trip. The only concern I have with them is when I opened the box and pulled them out there was this white scraping or scuffing all over them. You can see this in the pictures. The whiteness is literally all over the boots. They appear to be brand new however and not a return. I am not sure if this is from the white paper you generally find inside shoe boxes or not. This is the only reason for a four star review, other wise based on fit and the initial quality of the boot I'd go 5 star. After my trip I will come back and give a update if I remember :) Overall though they fit well and hopefully on my trip they work well for the mud and water. ... show more

    • Nice boots
I got the women's size 6 because I wanted to wear thick socks. The boots fit perfect and they're warm, easy to wear (not too heavy) and there was no break in period at all. I'm not sure someone with a wide foot or high instep could wear them though, might be ok if they wore very thin socks.

I bought these boots over a year ago and they have been better than both M*** boots and B***s. I wear them almost every day, several times a day, in summer heat, in rain, and in ice and snow (there's some snow on the boots in the photos!), in the creek, in the woods, pretty much everywhere every day. They have a little wear & tear after one year but still in great shape, no leaks despite the tear you see on the side that I must have gotten on some trail, the little tabs that help you get the boot off are still solid. They took a couple of weeks to break in but now they are very comfortable. Sizing is correct. I will definitely be picking up more of these in years to come! ... show more

I finally was able to put these boots to use. I spent all day in a South Louisiana river bottom. My feet never hurt nor got wet, which is always a plus! They also seem to have pretty good traction. I have had similar pairs of Lacrosse and Muck boots and feel like these are more comfortable. Hopefully they hold up. They do run small. I had to exchange for one size up. ... show more
