I like these boots and think they are a good deal, but they aren't made for hardwoods hunting. I poked a hole through the soft uppers my third day wearing them with a stick. I hunt some gnarly places in the Appalachians and the uppers may not be tough enough. No fault to the boot, for you lucky easy bottomland farm hunters or for wearing around the yard they would be great ... show more

This is my second pair of Tidewe boots. For $35 I get reasonably warm, waterproof, and stable boots. Sure the tread will only last 6 months but Muck brand boots cost 4x as much and only last 6 months. For 2-4x the price I doubt you can find a better pair. The sizing is bonkers though so pay attention to the chart & measure you foot accurately. I have to order a full 1.5 sizes DOWN to get a good fit even with thick expedition weight socks on. ... show more

I’m a groomer and am always getting wet bathing dogs throughout the day. I was using crocs but once wet would rub the top side of the foot raw. So I invested in these. Most of the time I keep them folded down so I get some air in them and just pull them up for baths. The only problem I’ve encountered is they seal so well that my feet do not breathe and sweat profusely. But I feel I can’t have my cake and eat it too and there is no way around this really so I’ve just started changing my socks at lunch, wearing them inside out to wick the moisture away from my foot. Then I take them off at lunch to Give my feet a break. I’m aware most people however would not be wearing them as long as I do. I do love them. And since I’ve changed my routine to avoid foot rot my feet don’t seem too bothered. ... show more

Sounds like a great annual review eh? Seriously, these ‘mud’ boots are extremely comfortable, easy to get off/on and so far are leak free! I’ve walked with them on the beach and on the road, and they are very comfortable. I wear a semi-thick sock which makes for a great fit. There’s a little knob, so to speak, on the heel of each boot which allows you to use these knobs to get the boots off easily! A very handy benefit.
