They are easy to find on the porch because of the colored soles. I have worn them with and without socks. These are really great boots. They're well made and have a great arch. I normally use orthotics, but haven't needed them in these boots. They have a large calf which makes it easy to keep the pant legs clean. I got them to work farm chores in the mud, but they're so comfortable they end up staying on when it's not muddy or even for errands in town. I'm normally a size 8.5 in tennis shoes and bought 8.0. Great boots. I walk my dogs no matter what the weather is. They have kept my feet dry and warm in the slush of winter. They do run big. I normally take a size 7 and I have to wear two pair of socks in order for them to fit

These boots are great for casual walking or working in wet conditions. They will keep your feet dry in shallow water. I recently used them in 40 degree weather, looking for pond life, and my feet were warm and dry.

The product arrived looking like they are used - scuffed and an odd manufacturing odor. I will be using them at a farm and since I had already had to exchange them for a smaller size, I am keeping them. Pro - they are REALLY comfortable and fit very well. One con - when I originally purchased them, they were on sale and the buyer gave no option of exchanging them only a return and re purchase. I had to pay almost $30 more, which was a bummer when I was merely trying to exchange for a smaller size. UPDATE: Customer service is extremely responsive and helpful! They totally resolved my issue and because they are so comfortable and the customer service was so amazing, I will be ordering future orders from them. I purchased these after reading the reviews on Amazon. I followed the advice of others and bought a size smaller than I normally wear, but upon receiving realized they were still too big. So, I purchased another size smaller...and this time they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and the 6 was a perfect fit so I recommend 1 to 2 sizes smaller when you order. They seem to be made with quality materials, look very nice and durable. They're comfortable and I actually received compliments too. Hopefully they hold up well over time. I was hesitant to purchase these mud boots because of the discrepancy of the reviews on what size would fit the wearer. Depending on how a shoe is made I usually wear size 6 1/2 to 7. I bought a size 7 boot and they're a perfect fit for me. The 1st time wearing them they were a bit snug but that, I believe, is the case for any new shoe and I was wearing socks so there's that too. As I've continued to wear the boots they began to feel as if the boots were made specifically for my feet. The boots are comfortable, easy to walk in, and easy to put on and take off. I've had these boots for a while now and there's no leaks which is always a concern with mud boots. I plan on buying a pair for my daughter. I highly recommend these mud boots. ... show more
