I returned the XL & ordered 2XL. it fits much better. I would buy this rain gear again. However my recommendation to you is to go one size larger when ordering.

Kept me dry during a recent ATV trip. Water was beading right off both the pants and jacket. After the trip, hosed it down and wore it the next day and it worked just as well. Very easy to be be cleaned and perfect in every way.

After testing the item out while working in a Florida rainstorm, I have a few thoughts to share. As far as waterproofing goes, the material and seems handled very well in over an hour of thunderstorming. I was however very wet. This is due to the lack of breath ability, in a high humidity environment. It might work better in colder, and or more “dry” conditions, but in an 80 degree thunderstorm, it caused significant sweat. I was told ahead of time from other reviews that the sizing runs a little small, but from what I read I figured a large should do fine. Not really. At 6’2” the pants are a little short and somewhat tight. They have some baggy-ness, but not enough for good mobility. This caused them to constantly be pulled below my belt line and underneath the jacket, exposing my pants to the rain. The jacket fit a little more loosely, and was adequate in length for the arms, and decent length for the torso, however I would always recommend going a size up for rain gear. If I had, I believe the product could have had a little bit better ventilation, and would have kept me more covered. My mistake was going with a L instead of an XL. My comments for product improvement would be that perhaps an adjustable drawstring “belt” built into the waist could help with the pants sliding/being pulled down, and something like a zipper or hook & loop slit in the pant legs near the ankle hole to allow equipping without removing your footwear. Otherwise, this is an all around good product, just make sure you verify what size would work best for you.

My husband is a year round bicyclist and goes through a lot of rain gear. These are pretty heavy duty and he was completely dry after a ride in a downpour that caused serious flooding! The pants are a bit big but not really an issue.

Im a garbage man and constantly moving in and out of the truck this outfit has been great to use during this rainy season . I like that it’s tight on wrist and breathable also stays dry . My job is constantly moving and grabbing bins and barrels that are full of water and it’s the best purchase I made this year . The material is very light but works extremely well spent all day 10 hours in the rain and felt super cozy . Also squatted to pick up boxes and the anti-tear material def did its job

If you’re going to Ireland, skip the umbrella and buy this suit. Umbrellas are useless in the Irish wind, but this kept me dry from head to toe. The pants are easy to pull on over jeans, and the jacket looks stylish enough for walking around Dublin or any other city. I wore it through misty mornings and full-on downpours, and the water just beaded right off. It dried quickly once we got back to the hotel, too. Very versatil and Totally recommended it is totally worth it, also for it coverage and that doesn't feel heavy.

Overall, the jacket and pants work well, the material is stiffer than expected, but seem to be well made and and have worked well over the almost 2 years I've owned them. Like all "waterproof" clothing, the water-shedding properties diminish over time and usage (these survived the last few years of "atmospheric river" downpours and still manage to keep me drier than they probably should have. I reduced them to 4 stars because even though they're fairly light weight, surprisingly thin (but not cheaply so), and properly sized, they're not as breathable as I'd have liked, and during warmer weather, I found I was sweating enough to be slightly uncomfortable. The other factor is the zipper is "reverse seated", so if you're used to the standard "right side slots into the zipper on the left", be warned that it is reversed. For the price though, it's hard to argue they're not a good value.
