I purchased this item to install Ferrules on some screw terminal wires for my 3d printer. It got the job done without any major complaints. The included ferrules are a very nice assortment, however I will say the tolerances for size could be better, as even though I was sure to use the right size for the wiring I was using, sometimes they would slip off after giving them a good tug. Simply removing and starting over with a new one though was enough to get a tight fitting one. It would've been nice if the tubing was heat-shrining so you could have another layer of protection, but trying to heat it up with my heat gun didn't do anything. The "crimper" works well and only got stuck on the ferrule one time, but a little bit of force easily got it off. Not a bad product, but don't expect the quality you'd find from German or Japan made tools.

My initial thought was I can do with out this thing on my simple led install but come to find out this is pretty handy. Leds to controller is easy grab 2 or 3 sets of control wires and grab the appropriate size connector from the case. Which means the size all the wires will fit into. Crimp it down with ratchet and you are off to the races. No twisting, no going back to check, long term solution. Solid tool and good case keep ferals separate, been in the truck for about 3 weeks and it is still in original working condition.
