Learn from other peoples mistakes, is a motto I have, so learn from mine. Male dogs, clipped or not, like to pee on AC's outside and with that, they will ruin it to the cost of 5k plus. Now, 2 years after that incident, my new house, I said, nah, my dogs don't hunch so I don't need this. Well, that maybe true but when there is condensation on foam and texas heat, dogs will chew things. That was a mistake as they chewed a copper tube in half and tore all the styrofoam. This helped fix the issue of this happening again. Now, I have boston terriers and a basset. It works so far (3 months) and has prevented them from "easily" chew up things. I needed a way to fence off a little piece of my yard to keep my husband from mowing over it. I'm planting some native wildflowers and plants for pollinators, calling it my little "biodiversity area," and I know without it being separated from the rest of the yard, it would get mowed. So I searched Amazon and found this little mini fence set. It works perfectly for what I needed it for! The bottom stakes that go into the ground screw onto the actual fence part. It was a little tedious screwing all of them on, but it's not a big deal because it lessens the amount of packaging required to ship, versus them being already assembled and requiring a larger box. One didn't screw on all the way because I think the threading was messed up a little, but it screwed on enough to serve its purpose so it was fine. I put it up a couple days after it had rained, so it was easy to drive the stakes all the way into the ground with just my hands, not having to use a hammer or anything. This little set comes with zipties or little clips to attach the fence posts to each other. I opted for the clips, and they worked perfectly. There were enough clips for me to use two to attach each fence post to the next; one toward the top and one toward the bottom. I honestly think the company could go without sending the zipties, as the clips do the job just fine so there's really no need for the zipties. But I just set them aside and I'm sure I'll find some use for them eventually. The fence looks nice, and it's a good height. I can easily step or reach over it when I need to. Anyhow, this product is great. I'm actually going to be purchasing more as I think they'll work great for bridging gaps between the ground and the fence where my husband's dog has dug holes to try to get out of the fence (ugh makes me so mad!). And I'm also going to create a little "biodiversity area" in my parents' yard, so I'll use this same little fence set there, too. I'd like to expand my little area a bit more, and when I do I think it'll be really easy to pull up some of the fence pieces from my current setup so I can add more pieces to lengthen the area. That is, once my husband gets over the fact that I did this in the first place. Haha. No regrets. Feed the bees and butterflies, and protect biodiversity!! Very easy to assemble - no tools are really needed. I did use pliers to push the connectors together. It does take some time to attach the legs but well worth it. I purchased these because the flowers along my front walkway have gotten quite big & heavy and were falling onto the walkway. This fencing was tall enough to corral the flowers back off the walkway so my Amazon delivery driver won’t step on them when they are delivering. ... show more

I bought this to keep our dogs from running through the flower beds, just because they could. They're tall dogs but they respect the fence and have stopped tromping through aimlessly, hunting for rabbits or voles. It is a well made fence, sturdy, nice looking. Not the fanciest, but not cheap looking by any means. It was fairly easy to assemble. Saying that, I will add that if you have WD-40 handing around, I recommend squirting a tad into each leg to make screwing the legs in easier on your fingers (be aware that there are drainage holes in the bottom of the legs, so keep that in mind when squirting). And although you can snap the flexible plastic connecting pieces into place, a pair of pliers (gently used) helps. ... show more

I liked the ease and sturdiness of the fence, but I didn't like the little clips. They were hard on the fingers to snap on and the diagram that came with the fence showed a different type of clip than what was received.

I got these to place around my baby peony plants to keep my dog from trampling them. They have held up well against his advances when he chases after cars and haven’t budged from heavy winds or rain. I haven’t noticed any rusting yet and they’ve been out all summer. They were very easy to assemble and I was able to push them in the ground using my foot. It might be difficult to pound them in with a mallet if putting them in harder ground. ... show more

I purchased this fence to hold up tall and heavy (with 8" blooms) hydrangea plant, and I'm pleased with the results. The shipment comes with the "legs" of each fence section unattached, so it takes a little time to screw them on but it's extremely easy to do. Once the "legs" are attached, each section goes into the ground next to each other and the each edge is fastened at the top and bottom with either a plastic attachment or a zip tie (both come in the box so you can choose; I chose the plastic which I liked the look of better, and I think may come off easier at the end of the season).
