I love these boots although it’s been too hot to wear them outside I’ve been wearing them in the house. I usually have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit so hesitated buying them on line. My daughter loves hers and highly recommended them and there’s a great return policy so I gave it a try. I did return the first size 10, surprisingly too small, reordered an 11 (shocking!) and they fit perfectly with a insole and lightweight weight socks. They are a beautiful gray suede, no heel (a must), a nice cushioned foot bed, easy to get off and on. I think they are very fairly priced. Love them!

After reading reviews I bought the 6.5, half a size up, and they're a great fit. Beautiful leather, lovely, versatile color, and really elegant. I have a narrow foot, and the fit is ideal but if you run wide, heads up, because the shank is on the narrow side of medium, and the toe box might be tight for you. They slip on and off easily, have a great fit around the ankle - they skin, and don't flop, as some Chelsea and other ankle boots can. I love the sole; there's a nice non-skid rubber bit, but it's not bulky. These will look equally great with jeans as with tights and skirts or leggings, and with dresses all year (where are my fellow GenX people?). I've been thinking about these since last year and debated about the price point, but the quality is excellent, and I expect them to last a long time, and get a beautiful patina with wear. If you have high arches consider an insole, though they're surprisingly comfortable for being as flat as they are. I wouldn't miss out on these; they're going to be in heavy rotation next to my Sorels. It doesn't surprise me to see so many reviews about people wearing them in Europe; they are that cool, that understated, that hip, without looking at all like you're trying to be trendy. A classic boot worth every penny.

When these boots arrived, I immediately put them on. They are beauties, and the olive tone seems to match everything. There was some fear initially because they were snug, but I had a read a review before I bought them that said they will loosen up fast enough. That is true. After about 15 minutes of wearing, they feel like old favorites. These boots are gorgeous, well-made, and comfortable. A bonus is the grippy sole.

I have been looking at these and other boots for a month. I wear a 10.5 have normal foot box and narrow thru the area and heel. Decided on Thursday's, Ordered a 10.5 and if fit amazing right out of the box. Loved the olive suede color. After walking around in the house, I had major heel slipage. You cant remove the insole, and for the price I don't think you should have to start adding heel grips etc. So unfortunately back they go, and my search continues.

Bought my usual size 11. Fit perfectly. I sprayed them w/ water repellent first. I walked them around to break them in, just a bit, before our trip to Ireland, in Oct. They were very comfortable. Not too heavy. Made well. My feet stayed dry, but we were in damp weather only. Not pouring rain. Definitely nice boots.

Shoes arrived on a Friday. Looked sleek and very cool. Did a quick try on just to check fit and while a bit snug on the foot, lots of room around ankles. Not wholly uncomfortable and leather does always expand a bit, but, folks noting narrower fit at foot are true to words there. Wore the shoes first time today at work where I teach and walk around office and class mostly. No scuffing or hitting shoes on anything. When I took them off for a break at end of day, I noticed some black flakes on my one hand. The right shoe is perfect. Looks shiny. However, the left had some issues showing already with material coming off the sole and leather starting to strip off one small section. You barely notice it but when I came home and took off shoe, more came off. It’s just the one small section but at 160, I don’t expect shoes like this to do this after day one, and, as said, the right shoe is absolutely pristine. So, not sure what’s happening there but disheartening as that is likely to just keep getting worse.

Today I decided to break in my new Thursday boots. They looked narrow out of the box. I wear a 7 1/2 - 8 and ordered a size 8. I have a narrow foot. I put on a thin boot sock and decided to walk around the house for an hour while doing chores and cooking. I completely forgot I had them on. They were that comfortable. I don't feel the need to break them in anymore before wearing. I like the classic design that will be perfect for years to come. A thick sock would't be a problem. Only wide feet might need to consider if this boot is for them.
