I recently purchased a 16" inch MacBook Pro. I purchased this Thule Gauntlet case to protect this investment.. In 2018 I purchased a 15.4 MacBook Pro. I purchased the Thule Gauntlet case offered at that time to protect my laptop. Excellent product. Plenty of room for the laptop with protective cover, charging block and cable, HDMI cable with room to spare. This Gauntlet case is smaller than the the one available in 2018 in both storage and interior dimensions. When attempting to place the 16" MacBook Pro in this new Thule case, it did not fit. You can see this in the photographs. The 16" MacBook Pro did fit in the older Thule Gauntlet case nicely. The 15.4" MacBook Pro did fit snuggly in the new but smaller Thule case so I will not be returning it as it did fit the slightly smaller MacBook Pro. As far as this product is concerned it will ABSOLUTELY NOT fit a 16" MacBook Pro. It will fit a 15" MacBook Pro snuggly. The materials and build are very similar to the older Gauntlet that I have had for 5 years. I have no doubt this Thule Gauntlet will take a beating and do an excellent job of protecting my 5 year old 15" MacBook Pro. I would have given 5 stars however I have two issues. The first is the reduced storage area for your "stuff". The case will close nice and snuggly, however, I can no longer fit the 12' HDMI cable in the case. The second is the shoulder strap attach lugs on the case. On the older case the lugs were thick recessed fabric loops. As I keep my laptop in the Thule Gauntlet while using it I would never would notice them. On this Thule Gauntlet the fabric lugs have been replaced with thinner smaller fabric loops with triangular plastic lugs to attach shoulder strap. These plastic lugs stick out. The one on the left side is intrusive and there all the time. As I never use the shoulder strap I cut the plastic lugs off. The shoulder strap will fit tightly in the small fabric loop if I ever need to use it. This is a quality product and I would recommend it, but NOT for a 16" MacBook Pro.

Fits Galaxy Book2 Pro 15.6 perfectly. I was looks for something to protect my laptop and also have room for charger and a tablet. This works. Not much else fits without making me nervous about damaging things, but it does what I wanted. Quality appears like it will hold up well. Wish it had a strap to attach to a roller bag for travel.

If you’re going to buy a MacBook —get a cover that can actually protect it. This is the one. I should have purchased this one in the first place. Great protection, strong and durable, easy to carry, adjustable shoulder strap, and extra pockets. Why not 5 stars? I’m a teacher and with the Covid I teach all day long and multitask with 4-8 programs open while uploading lesson videos to YouTube. I have found that I have to lift the base of the laptop up to let the MacBook cool off. I also have trouble connecting power cord in. I have to press down on zipper to plug it in—this appears to be useful as it lifts the Mac slightly, and just enough to Alia some air flow.

I tried one of these at best buy and my laptop fit nicely. I really liked the case but they were trying to charge $110 for it so I ordered online at half the price. The one I recieved from Amazon does not fit my laptop. Technically my laptop is slightly bigger than the advertised internal dimensions (Thinkpad X1 extreme gen 5), but I figured it would be fine since it fit at Best Buy
