  • This product is beautiful, versatile, will last a long time, and is of high quality.
Color: Anita (Light Medium Neutral)
I was delighted to receive this Thrive Causemetics bronzer stick in Light Medium Neutral. It is vegan, as with the rest of the Causemetics brand. The bronzer cream from the stick is blendable, buildable, and not oily. It can be blended with the brush located on the opposite side of the stick, and it is a great brush; soft and buffs nicely. This gives it an airbrushed look. I can get the most out of every inch of a blush or bronzer in a cream form if I use a makeup brush. A neutral tone can be ideal for a cool-medium-toned complexion like mine, which is not yellow-tinged, and may also match well on your warm skin tone. Sometimes I like a warmer bronze shade, depending on my clothing and other makeup. But what I do is dab a bit of the appropriate shade (pinky or peachy) in a stick blush, and it works out in the wash, as they say. This formula is ideal for sensitive skin and is both waterproof and smudgeproof. I have also received the highlighter with this bronzer, so I will tell you how I use it: I apply moisturizer, serum, and some foundation (however, you may skip these steps). I use an angled stripe, not too pronounced, on the cheek/cheekbone area and buff lightly outward toward the temples (and to the outer part of the forehead if you wish). I apply an inexpensive blush stick to create a dot in the middle of the cheek and gently buff it in a circular motion to spread the color slightly. The dot should not be pronounced to achieve a natural look. (I may swipe a light bit of blush above the bronzer on the outer cheek/cheekbone area instead). Then I apply the highlighter to the upper cheekbone areas. I buff, sweeping outwards (lightly) for a lift, and I can apply similar techniques to the jaw, bridge of the nose, and forehead, using the darkest shade first. I place that darker shade on the face and forehead. The cream blush stick I used cost me under $5, but I may purchase this Thrive product in blush if it is available. It is worth looking into. This is an excellent brand: I have multiple products from them, including eyeshadow pencils, eye brighteners, and mascaras. They are of high quality in my book. These make great gifts, and I recommend at least the highlighter and bronzer, or just one of them. Sometimes, I'll take a highlighter and put it over my foundation or other types of makeup. It can be blended in, and it looks fabulous. It can also be a delicate look. I send my gifts out via Amazon's gift service because of the distance between my family and me. The price is worth it because this product is versatile, beautiful, durable, and of high quality. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Easy to apply and goes on smoothly
Color: Anita (Light Medium Neutral)
I love everything about this makeup color stick. First, the stick is double sided so I can apply the bronzer easily and then use the brush on the other end for blending. Just FYI when you first try to crank the makeup upwards for more, twist it from the middle as opposed to the very bottom or you will just be twisting the cap for the brush. I'm so used to twisting from the very bottom with other products that I was twisting forever without making progress due to rushing and forgotting for a second that the stick was double ended for the brush. The bronzer cream goes on smoothly, offers good coverages and looks really pretty with my skin tone. Having crazy skin, I appreciate the moisturizing ingredients and that I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation since I started using it a week ago. Usually my face reacts hard and fast to most new makeup products so it's nice not having to deal with that this time. No dryness, no oiliness, just right ... show more

  • Not a fan of the brush that's attached
Color: Anita (Light Medium Neutral)
Blends ok on my skin, but doesn't look good on my skin color, and I'm pretty pale. I don't like the brush that comes with it - it's pretty stiff and hard to use. I'm sure it's great for some, but just not my favorite. Would give it four stars if it had a better brush.

  • Good pigmentation and blend-ability
Color: Anita (Light Medium Neutral)
I'm not usually a stick contour person, but I really enjoy using this cream bronzer stick! It comes with a short, firm brush on the other end. Consistency wise, the formula is very bendable with the included brush. I haven't had a problem with harsh lines when using it with the brush and it looks natural on my skin. The pigmentation isn't too light or too heavy which I appreciate - it's enough that I don't have to layer it on, but not so much that it needs blended for three hours. The undertone also matches nicely with my skin tone. Some people with sensitive skin might have an issue with the brush because it isn't a nice fluffy gentle brush, but it gets the job done well. The product also stays on all day if you're not rubbing your face constantly. Overall, 10/10 product! ... show more

  • Cream bronzer adds nice warmth to the face
Color: Anita (Light Medium Neutral)
This is a nice cream bronzer, and the color I got is a good fit for my light to light medium skintone. This bronzer isn't orange and it will add warmth to the face. I wouldn't recommend it as a contour. One side has the cream bronzer and the other side has a brush that you can use to blend the product in. I've never been a big fan of these included brushes, but it is soft and would work in a pinch. The formula of the bronzer is a bit on the stiff side. If you draw it directly on your face, you notice a bit of resistance (as opposed to some cream bronzers that glide effortlessly on the face). It's still very easy to blend out, and I don't notice it disturbing the makeup underneath. You can also pick up product with your brush and apply it to your face that way, which is normally what I would do, but I find the stiffness of the product makes it a bit fussy to pick up enough product on the brush and then attempt to blend out on my skin. I much prefer directly drawing on my face and then blending with a brush. The bronzer lasts throughout the day, and I don't notice any scent. It's not my favorite cream bronzer because of the stiffness of the product, but it's nice and I'll definitely use it. ... show more
