I had never really owned great sheets. I was raised thinking sheets were all pretty much the same and interchangeable. What a world of difference these sheets make. My old sheets were 100% cotton - thin and practical but nothing special. They got old and a bit worn, so I decided to upgrade. After doing a lot of research, these stood out as 1200 thread count sheets within my modest range of affordability. Made in the USA was also a major incentive since almost every other set was imported and virtually none of the decent looking ones seemed to exceed 1000 thread count. So these sheets are THICK, yet stay cool to the touch even when the room is warm. This is a wonderful and new feeling for me. I'm a picky sleeper who is often prone to getting too hot while trying to fall asleep. These sheets have probably helped me get some of my best sleeping experiences to date. These sheets are also very soft and feel almost silky, yet possess the firmness and stability of cotton. It's definitely a unique feeling for me and a bit of a revelation. I did not know cotton could be like this. The sheet fits nicely on my Queen size bed. There was some excess material along the bottom, but the sheet has been easy to tuck in and never seems to shift. Good fit. Having pillowcases in this set definitely helped since I'm able to enjoy the same comfort with them as the rest of the set. These help keep my head comfortable and cool while sleeping. The set includes a flat sheet which I use as an Autumn blanket. This has proven one of the set's biggest perks. As expected, it is thicker than most flat sheets yet much thinner than a padded sheet. Because it is also breathable, it does a great job at keeping me cool but not too cool. Surprisingly effective temperature control. Finally, my sheets have an Ivory color. I picked that because... I prefer Ivory. The color looks good and doesn't overwhelm. It's subtle and tasteful. I imagine other color sheets from the manufacturer would work just as well. Overall, it's a bit hard to describe just how much I like this sheet set. It was very much an investment for me but I figured with how much time one spends in bed sleeping, it only makes sense to go for a better product. This set outperformed my expectations. This is by far the best sheet set I've come across and it's helped me get better nights' sleeps. Which is to say I'm very happy with the set and would definitely recommend it to anyone else who could justify the cost, especially for anyone who may be used to more standard bedding like I was.

We bought a new bed that is 14.5 inches deep. Our prior sheets were not fitting well. These fitted sheets are a perfect size. I had thought a 1200 thread count would make the sheet feel silky smooth. While the sheets are comfortable they are not as soft as we thought there were going to be. The instructions do say that they will get softer when washed a few times. We have only washed them once. We will see. Either way we are happy with the quality and fit. I do recommend these sheets.

Like so many other reviewers, I searched and searched for sheets for YEARS that were cool, thick and yet soft, non-piling. I have never slept on anything that even comes close to these, even in high-end hotels. I bought my first set exactly a year ago, and alternate them with another set, each week. When these aren't on the bed, I don't sleep near as well. So I'm buying another set so I will never have to sleep without them. After a year, they wear incredibly well. Be prepared for a slight yellowing over time of the white ones because they are truly pure supima cotton. Who cares? It's what happens when the lights are OFF that maters. Nighty-night!

These sheets will probably last a long time. The only thing that I dislike is the fact that I had to iron them. I know that 100% cotton wrinkles but ironing the large flat sheet was a chore. Other than that, they are beautiful and feel good when I sleep on them.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am 52 years old and have a firm of lupus that causes my skin to break out in a terrible, painful, itching, burning rash during flare ups. It’s bad. BAD. I cannot sleep on sheets unless they are SOFT … anything a little abrasive will hurt like crazy. Therefore, my husband and I have made peace with spending filthy money for bed linens. Do I wish 300 TC sheets from Walmart would work for me? Yes. Have I tried them? Yes. Have I cried? Oh, yes. This past flare-up has been excruciating,and sleeping has been almost impossible, so I thought maybe I need to try different bed clothes. ( I’ve been using bamboo from Layla) maybe I need to switch back to cotton. Enter these sheets. I read the reviews. There was one that advised against buying these, but it seemed snarky and I thought, maybe they just didn’t like them.. b/c there were MANY MORE positive reviews exclaiming how “soft”, “luxurious”, “ like silk” these were. I AM SO CONFUSED. Guys, I didn’t make it through the first night. And I TRIED to like these sheets. I liked the weight, the color, the packaging… the fact they are nice to the environment, but oh my goodness, it was awful. I washed them, dried them and immediately put them on my bed. They felt fine against my hands, so I was excited. But when I climbed into bed I was shocked. 1200 TC. Twelve Hundred! I’ve paid upwards of 250-300 for 800TC from Dillards and these would not hold a candle to those. WHAT THE HECK is going on, I thought. I got out of bed, took everything off my bed to expose the bottom sheet and ran my hand over the sheet. There was a kind of minuscule-like graininess on them, so I ran my hands over them til that was gone ( maybe the cotton lifted during the drying time?) and hopped back in bed. I laid there. I turned to one side and then the other. What the heck??? How can these sheets be so abrasive?? They are 1200 tc!!! I laid there a little longer, willing myself to stop being a baby and LIKE the sheets. And then it hit me: “ you paid $212 for these bad boys, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO TRY THIS HARD! “But,” myself said to myself, “ maybe after a few washes…” … NO. NO. NO. Not after a few washes! I got up and took the flat sheet of my old bamboo sheet and replaced the new pillow case on my pillow with my old bamboo pillow case and got back into bed ( I couldn’t change the bottom sheet b/c my husband was sleeping and I did not want to wake him. Sooooo much better. So, I immediately logged back on to Amazon and selected “Return” and “ not as described” . These sheets are NOT soft. They are abrasive, and I don’t know, gritty? Pilly? Who knows. I’m sorry sheet makers, but for $212, in this economy, you gotta do better. I immediately logged onto Quince and ordered a new set of bamboo viscose sheets. Bamboo— it’s the only way to go. Unless, maybe these were a one off? I don’t know… I’m too scared to try again… I need to sleep.
