Ordered this range, came on time, DAY 1 Oven had E17 Error. Contacted amazon they opened a ticket with THOR. Thor sent a sears repair person 5 weeks later after many calls to them. The Sear person was here for 3-5 mins said he need to contact thor. I called 9 times. Contacted amazon again, again they opened a ticket and same thing, sear came did nothing left in 5 mins. Got Thor on phone again they got engineering on then fedex overnight a little sensor to us and said a service man would come in 3 days to fix. That was 2 months ago and I keep calling but they just tell me I have to wait. 7 month not working since day 1 and amazon would not let me return. I have now opened a A-Z claim and again have to wait 7 more days for that. Purchased in March 23, need over for thanksgiving with family coming in and no OVEN. Just very bad support from THOR. This E17 error seems like a well known issue as everyone seems to know about it. ... show more

It seems that all the other reviews are correct that it did not really work from day one. The oven also gave me the E 17 error, but everything else worked perfect. I had Thor come out and fix the issue within a week. I insisted they themselves come and not send a third-party. They fixed the issue, which seemed to be a thermostat issue, and has been perfect ever since. I bought it about a year ago without any problems since. ... show more

    • Terrible Unit!!!
Bought in April of 2023, oven has went out 3 times. I was able to use the oven appropriately 5 months out of the year. Customer service, when they finally respond, is terrible also. Please do yourself a favor…DO NOT BUY THOR!!! My oven is still not repaired after almost a week. Repair company never called. I finally track down who was to do the repairs only to find out they are just coming to access the problem. I wish had never bought a Thor. Thor use to be a great appliance with great service, they sold out to someone and I feel like they sold me out too! As a builder, I will never recommend a Thor appliance.     • Oven inoperable from day1
I purchased this oven for a remodel. After remodel was done and I went to use the oven, an error code popped up and the oven turned off after about 10 seconds. Called Thor customer service and they did no trouble shooting, just that I had to submit a request online for service. After filling out the form, I was notified that a technician was scheduled for service 17 days later. After taking a day off work, the tech arrived, removed a back panel, waited on hold with Thor for an hour before needing to leave. He advised he would need to order some parts and return. There was no additional follow-up from either the tech or Thor until I contacted a few days later questioning if the tech was ever able to get the parts ordered and when should I expect the repair to be completed. I was then informed the parts were back-ordered and it would be 30-90 days before they were available. Already 140 days since I paid for the item. Looking at possibly another 100+ days to fix it. Cannot recommend this item. Might change review if this item is ever fixed properly and I can actually use the oven. Looks nice though. ... show more

While this oven may look stunning, it’s by far the worst appliance I have ever purchased. I bought the entire Thor set and all other appliances are wonderful… except the oven. I’m not sure if I just received a dud, but this is absolutely by far the most terrifying purchase I have EVER made. I don’t even know where to start, and frankly if I do, I may just drag it outside and run it over. ... show more
