I ordered this set to get the three swivel adapters. They work great in an impact driver at a shallow angle like 10 or 15 degrees. I wish the set had an extender that was male hex on the driver side and female hex on the other side, because that would let you put the swivel at the end of an extender, which is very common. Very nice set of 1/4 impact socket extensions and adapters. In the box, parts come nicely arranged in a soft form fitting foam cut out, that could lie in a tool drawer of your tool box. All adapters go in your drill or impact. You can not connect any of these extensions together to make a longer extension than it already is. Like you can with the extensions that come with the typical socket set. That said it's all about having the right tool for the job. Also the swivels are more of a gear type joint than a universal joint. And feel a tad chunky when used. As mentioned, if you're looking for that special tool for a certain job then look no further.     • Great Adapter Set
This is a great impact adapter set. The metal is black oxide coated to prevent rust. The ball bearing socket retainer is heavily spring loaded and sticks out enough to properly engage the sockets hole. The swivels are held together by a press fit method of locking ridges. In my opinion this method is superior to the 1/8" link pin that always shears off when used with impact drivers. They provide one extension for each of the popular rachet sizes such as 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". The storage case is the best part, it is a high-density foam that tightly holds on to each piece and yet is practically weightless by itself. No matter how many times you remove a piece the foam still grips it tightly. You can't get that from a cheap plastic tray that wears out in a week. ... show more

I can see primarily using the 6" extension quite a bit. I'm confident that the 1/4" & 3/8" extensions will handle any thing I can throw at them, but the 1/2" x 6" extension, I'm not so sure. My 1/2" impact drill is a monster, so time will tell. Fortunately I don't have many reasons to use extensions with my 1/2" impact drill. The case the extensions came in is a perfect tool drawer case. Perfectly organized and easy to find. Believe me, extensions are an easy item to loose in the bottom of a messy tool drawer. ... show more

plenty of sizes and lengths and angles for any job a socket can fix! love it. the coating will probably wear pretty fast, but it seems durable enough. it's really a specialty set that will get varying use, but it's good to have on hand in the event of needing it. no telling how many times i needed an extension socket in a specific size and had to call my dad or brother. now, they will probably be calling me! love the 90 degree angled ones especially, those are elite. totally a legit kit, though it would be cool to have a more permanent carrying case, i will probably just integrate these into the tool box where everything else is. all is well. ... show more
