I got this really nice 180 piece tool set that is all in a nice locking case for me to use in the house. It has a huge assortment of hand tools that can be used from around the house to working on vehicles, bicycles, putting garden items together -- you name it, you can probably do it all with this set. I get so tired chasing down a hammer, screwdriver, bits, etc when I want to put something together that I have ordered that arrives in a million pieces, or tighten a screw, door handle, or put up curtain rods, fix something the kids has broken, loosened screws (like bikes, tricycles), etc. I like that everything fits into a nice carrying case that keeps everything in one place -- freeing up my junk drawer, and then I can keep the case in my utility closet or under the sink. It is also ideal to take on trips to have tools handy if you break down, go camping, or an extra set of tools in the garage. You really can't have too many tools! This set is very well made, tools are heavy duty, a big assortment and at a really great price. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone.

This is a nice tool set for light duty home or garage use. One of the smallest Allen hex keys was bent in the set I received which means one of two things, the QA of the manufacturer needs improved, or the steel isn't hardened enough if the thinnest one bends in shipping. Most likely it was bent before hardening and shouldn't have been put into the set in the first place.

This is a light duty set that is great to have on hand for little fixes. I had taken a variety of tools to the office for small repairs and finally decided I needed a compact set of tools that had their own case and could just be left there. This did the trick. It’s not the most robust set; for example, the hammer is smaller than my regular hammers, and the wrenches are not as sturdy as my big name-brand ratchet wrench set. However, the price ($39.99 at the time of this review) is great and if you are only doing occasional smaller repairs and don’t want to have to hunt down (or purchase) individual tools each time, this is a great option. I can see it doing well as an extra set for home use, or as a gift for someone moving into their first apartment and needing to do things like hang pictures and towel racks and assemble furniture. So far, I haven’t had any issues with the tools breaking or bending but if that becomes an issue over time, I will update this review.

It arrived quickly and has really come in handy because, it not only has a nice mix of the types of tools used around the house, it also has a bunch of picture hanging things I’ve been needing for quite a while. The case is nice and sturdy too so, I’m quite happy with it!

This is the perfect set to keep around the house. Without fail, every time I need a phillips head or an allen bolt or a wrench, I spend 20 minutes searching around my various junk drawers for the right tool. I know, I know, this is more on me and my poor organization skills for putting things away in a million different places that I ultimately never remember where. But this helps! As long as I just carry this whole chest around when I need to fix something and ONLY put the tool back in this when done, I'm golden. All of the tools are hard and true, and it has pretty much everything you'd ever need if you're just Mr./Ms. Fix It in your home like I am. I recommend.
