  • Great concept, but it's not quite there.
Size: ハードドライブ Style: Backpacks
Overall, I like this backpack (emphasis on "like", not "love"). I just feel its design wasn't as thoroughly thought out as it could have been... especially at this price point. I had previously used a USA Gear backpack (https://www.amazon.com/USA-Backpack-Compartment-features-Dividers/dp/B005J09OXU), which was a fantastic little backpack - plenty of pockets for all your gear, water bottle holder, tripod strap, etc. Unfortunately, it was little flimsy and too small for carrying my larger lenses. So I decided to upgrade to this pack. It's very well constructed and feels bulletproof. Nice beefy zippers and significant padding. It's got a huge main compartment that will fit even the longest zoom telephoto lens. My main complaint is that there simply aren't enough small pockets to hold little things like SD cards and batteries separately. The USA Gear bag had pockets especially designed for SD cards and I could access spare batteries without having to pen the main bag. With this pack, the zipper pockets on the outside are too flat to be of any significant use, but are deep enough to lose things in. The tripod pouch and straps are a great concept, except the top strap doesn't quite reach where I'd want it to on my tripod, and whenever you set the bag down, because the tripod pouch hangs below the bottom of the bag, the tripod gets pushed up and strains the fabric of the bag. There's basically no way to set the bag on the ground when a tripod is attached. The neoprene water bottle holders feel too short and snug and, in fact, I lost an expensive hydro flask because I set the bag down and it rolled right out of the pocket. If you can zipper the larger pocket closed around it, it's good. But that's not really the point of a water bottle holder, is it. The straps are strong and thickly padded, but at 6' tall, they don't quite sit in the right place on my shoulders and seem too short. The waist belt is fairly useless. There are no hip pads, so it's basically just there to keep the bottom of the bag close to your lower back. It is a heavy pack and, fully loaded, it can be intimidating. But to its credit, I've been hauling it full on several hikes now and, except for it not fitting like a great backpack should, it was pretty comfortable. ... show more

  • The Perfect Wedding Shoot Bag for Me!
Size: ハードドライブ Style: Backpacks
I've purchased many camera bags over the years. Some of them I use for different purposes like travel or wildlife photography. Some of them have worked out while others have not. I purchased an expensive Think Tank Shapeshifter bag a few years ago that DID NOT work out as it just did not hold enough lenses securely. It now just takes up space in my closet. This one I purchased, specifically, to hold EVERYTHING that I take to a wedding shoot. Here are the items that fit perfectly into this bag: Canon 1D X BodyCanon 5D Mark IV Body (with Battery Grip) 35mm 1.4L II Lens 50mm 1.2L Lens (very big for a 50mm) 85mm 1.8 Lens (will also hold the 1.2L or 1.4L - I don't shoot 85mm unless it's too tight inside for my 135mm) 100mm 2.8 Macro Lens w/Hood 135mm f/2L Lens w/Hood 16-35mm f/4L Zoom Lens w/Hood 24-105mm f/4L Zoom Lens w/Hood 70-200 2.8L Zoom Lens w/Hood Canon Speedlight (the big one) Tripod (will even fit my largest Gizmo) 13" MacBook Pro (will probably not fit the 15") iPad iPhone Water Bottle Batteries, batteries, batteries, wallet, keys, cords, chargers... (you get the idea) To summarize: TWO professional camera bodies, EIGHT camera lenses, flash, laptop, tablet, phone, everything! The bag is not that large, but it's rugged and all that equipment feels very very safe. While it probably weighs 50+ pounds fully loaded it is still comfortable enough to lug from the car to the venue and back. I would not want to go on a hike with that much equipment, for sure. Basically, this bag does what I intended it to do, which is allow me to take everything I need to a wedding shoot and only have to keep up with a single bag (two if I'm doing off-camera flash). You can even lock the main compartment with a small padlock if you don't trust that video guy to not sneak off with some of your L glass (just kidding - but seriously). I'm sure this bag can adequately meet other needs as well in different configurations. Good luck! ... show more

  • Love peak design
Size: ハードドライブ Style: Backpacks
I have a smaller version of this bag but my gear was feeling a bit tight and I was having to make choices as to what I could take. This bag has more room including room for a laptop which I will probably use just for the iPad. I’m hoping that the added size won’t make the bag too much heavier. I would have liked to have seen a better price coming from Amazon ... show more

  • Well worth for its price
Size: ハードドライブ Style: Backpacks
This bag is definitely worth its price. Its slightly expensive compared to some of the other camera bags out there but it fulfills all my camera storage requirements. This bag has ample space for: - 2 cameras - 16-35 mm FX lens - 85mm FX lens - 18-35 mm DX lens - 70-300 mm DX lens I am planning to buy a 200-500 mm lens and there is enough space to fit that lens as well. This bag has additional 2 compartments inside the bag for storing stuff like memory card, batteries, charger. Other than that there are two compartments outside the bag to keep stuff like wallet, phone, flashlight etc. There is one big flat compartment on the inner side to keep documents etc but the only con is that the chain can be easily opened with one noticing, but there is a provision to lock that compartment as well as the main compartment where camera gear is stored. It also comes with rain pouch and additional straps to support longer tripods. The quality of the bag is excellent - material, chains straps etc. It also has back support for wearing it for extended periods. The internal paddings are thick and amazing for camera protection. But these thick paddings make it big enough that it probably wont fit in airlines below the seat. One trick that might work is to remove some of the paddings at the top of the bag so that the bag can be squeezed if needed. ... show more
