I had 5 of these units, one leaked after two weeks, one burned out after two years and one stopped working after 3 years. So when they work, they do great, but long term reliability is just not there unfortunately. They did improve their design in 2023 so it's better tube fitting, but the unit that leaked is a 2023 unit, so while design is better, their quality control remains subpar. Update - all the new units leak, do not buy this product. Ever since they redesigned the unit, they literally all leak, I have gone through 4 now. Enough is enough.

I ordered this item July 8th 2021. It was professionally installed July 27th. It needs to be replaced March 29th 2022. It's in a one bed one bath home of my elderly mother. Company can't be contacted.

Without mentioning specific details, I encountered a few problems over time, which raised doubts about the overall durability and long-lasting performance. It is disheartening to invest in a product that may not stand up to extended use. Despite these concerns, the water heater was promptly delivered, and the installation process was hassle-free. only had this product for 8 days and came home and water was spewing out from the element and burning, If i had not come home no telling what would have happened, I guess lucky to still have a home to come home to. It had been installed for 7 days
