Yay, I live in Florida so it is difficult to keep drinks cold. This is metal double wall, no sweat (well, the plastic lid sweats a little, but no big deal) and a very handy loop on the lids to carry it. It has two lids, one for drinking straight out of when you have thicker drinks, and one with a straw that flips up to drink from. I like the straw one better. Both lids have carrying loops made of solid plastic so they are easy to use. This can't be washed in the dishwasher, so I took off a star for that. But I only use it for water and ice. The mouth is large enough for automatic refrigerator ice to fit easily to load it up for the day. I put water and ice in it over night to test for sweating and no only did it not sweat, but there was still some ice floating in it 12 hours later. The house was right at 78 - 80 degrees - it's July in one of the hottest summers here in Florida! I carry the water bottle with ice year around. This is so nice when I am loading all my stuff into the car to just grab the loop and not spill the water all over me. I got one of the double wall pretty plastic cups thinking it was made in Florida so it must be good - nope, it sweats like a field runner in August!- the lid was so awkward I could not get it off to refill the cup - it went back to store. I am very happy with this cup so far and my husband wants one in a different color - there were several to choose from. This is great. The 24 oz fits in my car cup holder. Update: My hubby loves the darker blue one I got for him and he prefers the other lid without the straw. I am finding that after 24 hours when I refill the bottle in the AM I still have ICE in it! granted, it's only one cube sized hunk of ice, but hey, we hare having intense heat warnings here and triple digit temps! I first bought the 64 oz. bottle a year ago, because I drink a lot of water at night and wanted a big bottle that would stay cold all night long and hold a significant amount of water. This bottle went above and beyond my expectations. I noticed the first time I put ice in it that when I went to fill it the following night, the ice still hadn't melted, after 24 hours. Amazing. That to me is the best thing about these, how long they can actually keep a drink cold, but it isn't the only great feature. The bottles are elegant and well designed. They're heavy duty and feel super sturdy. I dropped my 64 oz down the stairs trying to carry it with a laundry basket and it didn't dent or even really scratch. The bottles are super easy to clean, each piece of the lid comes off so you don't have to worry about scum forming around the straw. I loved it so much that a few months later I bought two more, the purple and black 32 oz bottles. My wife and I wanted to start making our own iced lattes during the summer, since they're like 8 dollars each now, and needed a good bottle with a straw that would keep our drinks cold throughout the day. I instantly thought to look up if they sold 32 oz bottles (size of a large Dunkin iced latte) and sure enough they did so I got them. They've been awesome! I work outside a lot and even In the summer my drink stays ice cold and the ice won't melt until long after I've finished it. Took advantage of the prime day sale and ordered another two (40 oz white and purple). They are extremely well priced compared to their competitors. I filled this up completely with ice and a little water for a day at Disney with a triple digit heat index at 9 am yesterday. The bottle came on rides with us, but spent a great deal of time outdoors. I was stunned when my daughter drank this morning and said her water was still cold. This is one of my favorite bottles. 24oz is perfect for travel and fits well in my bottle holder on my bike. It keeps my water cold for a long time and I love that it is a wide mouth. Easy to add ice and easy to clean. I also purchased a Amary 750ml neoprene water bottle carrier bag that has an adjustable strap and this keeps my beverages and ice even colder. Great product- keeps cold water cold all day. The 64oz size is great for sports. The straw lid has an air vent that allows the straw to work but is not waterproof so will let water in in wet environments. However this bottle comes with two lids- the screw cap lid is water tight. The thermoflask is made by takeya but has slightly different features to their 64oz bottle. The thermoflask does not have a silicone bottom bumper- would highly recommend getting one from a third party to stop sliding and scratching. It also only has a small two finger grab handle vs Takeyas large carry handle , which is harder to heft around the full bottle comfortably. ... show more
