  • Beautiful, quiet, cool
Style: Top Flow
Love it. best under 25.00 cooler I have personally came across. Im using it for a Ryzen CPU. Easy to install. The RGB is BEAUTIFUL, Vivid and Bright!!! Just installed this last night, so the thermal paste is still "setting" . I have a good case and I use 4 case fans (3 front, 1 back) and my CPU is at 36-38 Celcius while Idle and while Gaming, I tested playing Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra Settings on a 1440 display and the CPU temp never went over 58 degrees celcius. Yeah, Im very happy. Its also a very warm summer day, so factor that in a bit too. Pros- Beautiful, addressable RGB Easy to instal (I used it for AMD Ryzen) Good instructions Quiet!!! Very Quiet Great price. Comes with a tube of thermal paste ( I used my own though) Cons- It will not jump out of the box and install itself no matter how much you beg... Highly recommend. Its a capable and Gorgeous Cooler. ... show more

  • Keeps Ryzen 5 3600 Cool Runnings
Style: Top Flow
Upgraded the stock AMD Wraith cooler that my Ryzen 5 3600 came with and this bad boy gets the job done and then some. Installation was confusing at first, but that was due to user error. After I figured it out, installed in less than 5 minutes, connected it to my ASUS B550-M Plus mobo and it's quiet and effective. I was worried at first the fan might block the RAM slots on the motherboard but that hasn't been an issue. I can easily get RAM in and out of the slots near the fan. ... show more

  • Very cool (Literally)
Style: Dual Fan Tower
Mounted to my LGA1700 12700KF. Inside an Antec FT case. CPU averages 35-55 with normal use and peaks at 65 on Valley benchmark. Mounting the cooler wasn't too bad. The instructions were clear enough. Overall pleased with the temps it manages.

  • Installation was not as bad
Style: Top Flow
After reading reviews, I purchased the fan as it was an upgrade to the stock CPU cooler that I already owned. The RGB was just and added bonus. Overall the product works, is not compatible with my mobo in terms of RGB control, and the installation was not as bad. To make things easier, I installed the mount before the cooler (per instructions) and I installed one latch while provided a small amount of tension by lifting it slightly. This allowed me to press the cooler straight and square onto the CPU (prevents smearing/bad thermal paste distribution). The second latch was not hard either. A bit uncomfortable, but doing it slowly and precise beat brute-forcing the latch on. Overall, not a bad cooler over stock at its price. ... show more

  • This is NOT easy to install, no better than a stock AMD Wraith cooler, update: RGB lasted 5 months
Style: Top Flow
I'm only happy with three things on this CPU cooler: 1) pretty colors and they ALMOST match the colors on my case's rear fan and LED strip up front. The purple is too light and the yellows are too orange. But in rainbow mode it's DARN close so I'll take it. 2) AM4 mounting is SUPPOSED to be hard to get right. I mean, it's designed to be tight, but maybe I wasn't prepared for how much strength I'd need to get it to latch on both sides. 3) It is keeping my 1500X in the 40s at idle, 60-65 under load, is that good? I don't know, this is the first AMD processor I've ran since an Athlon II X4 630 about a decade ago, and it was a toasty one, gamed in the low 70s and didn't complain once. Design limit was 71C back then, this is supposed to be ok to 95C? SO I guess 60s are fine? So then you have the negatives. a) good Lord this thing takes a crazy amount of strength and dexterity to install...I felt like I was going to snap the motherboard in half, or crush all the pins in the socket trying...but it's in there! b) the ground and D wires aren't QUITE long enough to reach the RGB controller on the backside of the motherboard tray so I needed to tuck a few things out of the way and it BARELY reached the top pins and seated fully, but I was concerned I would have had to purchase an extension JUST for the cooler lighting and that would've been irritating. c) when installing this thing with a graphite thermal pad, it moves around, A LOT, and I think that may be some of the reason for my high temps, but I can't imagine trying to install this thing with all the force it needs with a slippery layer of paste, I'd fling it through a wall trying! d) the lighting doesn't match up as mentioned above so I'm stuck using single color or rainbow mode to avoid noticing, so maybe I need something more generic to match my cheap case? I don't know, I just figure I'll use it until it isn't cooling well and attempt one more reinstall with this, maybe try Silver 5 instead of a graphite pad. If that doesn't work...well... For $20-$25 versus a stock Wraith Stealth cooler, I'd be hard pressed to consider buying this again. If I had no cooler available, I might buy this if I HAD to stay under $25. But with a wee but more in the budget I would go straight to one of the CM Hyper 212 variants. The RGB Black Edition model runs about $41 I could consider. I have an Evo V2 in my old X58 build, and a plain original model in my wife's X58 system. They are chunky but they keep things ice cold. UPDATE: I purchased July 2021, installed August 2021, and now at the end of January 2022 the RGB lighting stopped working. It was fine, then changed from the rainbow of colors to just white with a single green light top right, and on the next boot up it worked for two seconds and nothing. Nothing on subsequent boots either. Poked it with a stick. Checked connections at the fan and at the RGB controller. No change. I have the Wraith and Stealth style coolers as well I could use while waiting on an RMA, but it's really annoying to have to uninstall and reinstall a cooler because it couldn't work for more than a few months. Based on other reviews I am not the only one, and some got WAY less time than I did. Definitely going to leave it in, shop for something else, something MORE reliable, and this will now be another chunk of e-waste, no better than any other stock cooler. Great. ... show more

  • Okay enough for what I was using it for, BUT...
Style: Top Flow
Rebuilt a previous gen pc with some upgraded parts Used on an AMD vishera chip that is known for running hot. Pros: Fan does much better at keeping it cool than the stock one. But I also changed the case and fan set up so that would impact temps also. Does not need a rgb header on mobo. Lets you give some light to older motherboards. Also installed a controller for other rgb lights and fans. Quiet enough for us. Sits on a side office table next to the table the monitor is on and it isn't noticeable. Cons: Mounting it was difficult and if I didn't read the reviews I would have never pushed as hard on the brackets as was needed to install. I also watched a video that gave a good tip of using a flat head screwdriver to assist with getting the clasping backet in the needed place while installing. The stupid rgb headers to connect to the mobo are flimsy. 2 separate single wires with their own headers. I tried to connect it to a controller unsuccessfully and headers kept slipping off. This is my biggest complaint though is that it is so huge I had to sacrifice a ram slot for this to fit. I had four 8 gb chips and I can't use them all now. Since it is used for office work I took the hit and removed the chip. I'll buy a water-cooled aio one day if I ever really need the chip. ... show more
